Leo Clarke, Luke Branighan, Luke Felsch hard to split.

Honestly though, depends what the criteria is and what it stands for. If it's talent, Mark Gasnier. If it's playing with heart and for the jumper, Hornby or Nightingale would get my vote.

Johnny King is already there Gareth. Can't argue with Harry Bath and Frank Facer. Robert Stone is deserving - a great club man! Ben Hornby and Nathan Blacklock also right up there.

Yes they were all tremendous players and as you have said Drakon , great club men also . There are just so many players from the different eras that it’s like walking into a Darrel Lea chocolate store - you are spoiled for choice .

Bob the builder should be there with all the shit that was going on at that time he was a steady influence. And Harry and Frank they are very worthy, not to mention the other players you have named they all had massive impacts into Saints history.

I am glad that 4 new people will be added to the walk of fame. It's been a while since it has been updated.

Mark Coyne is the only one from the 1990s to be on the walk. Some more "modern players" inclusions would be nice. As others mentioned, Ben Hornby would be a great inclusion. Captain for the 2010 winning team. Nathan Blacklock would be nice, just for being an amazing try-scoring machine.

The SCG has a "Yabba" statue inside the ground - for a spectator. Would the Dragons ever do a signage on the Legends Walk for a non-player - ie a "fan" or someone from being the scenes (coach, admin, long term trainer and / or groundskeeper)?

Kenny Boothroyd great trainer in the 70’s. With his cap and tracksuit was easily identifiable and did a great job.

Aaah, yes, the famous Ken Boothroyd. He was the trainer I was thinking of before, but his name had escaped me. Great trainer, and appears in several team photos with that tracksuit. (Was a teacher at Kogarah Marist too). Someone like him could be an honourable candidate (or even a mention) on that walk.

All good Drakon, would you go for a mix of players past and present. We certainly have a galaxy of great players over the years and coaches and front office men that made our great club.
It's not just the players that make a great club so I'm all for honouring all the greats of the organisation. Frank Facer guided St George to greatness. Boothroyd was also a Dragons icon who also served the Illawarra Steelers so very deserving.

e.g. Marrickville council honoured Charlie Meander like this:-

Charlie Meader Memorial Gates

Henson Park, Charlie Meader Memorial Gates.
The Henson Park gates on the Centennial Street entrance were named as the "Charlie Meader Memorial Gates" in 2001 as a dedication to the memory and the recognition of Mr Meader's work as caretaker/groundskeeper of Henson Park for many years. Mr Meader joined Marrickville Council at the age of 16, and continued working there for another 53 years and was the longest serving council employee. Mr Meader was also the son of a former employee of the brick pit.

And also Jack Chaseling:-

The Jack Chaseling Drive
Jack Chaseling was one of the greatest of all Newtown Rugby League officials. He worked tirelessly for 32 years for the club. He was a delegate for NSWRL and also served on many sub-committees with NSWRL. He was manager for the 1935 Australian Kangaroos tour of New Zealand. Marrickville Council acknowledged his work by naming the Sydenham Road entrance "Jack Chaseling Drive".

Coops is also a club junior..

A one club (premiership) player..

Scored more than 100 tries..

Represented state & country..

And this tackle deserves to be immortalised in bronze:

Who was the ball carrier anyway? Do you reckon he’s doing the club speaking circuit these days known as “the guy Matt Cooper did the impossible tackle on”?

Chris Mcqueen.

Played origin I reckon. Got a Souffs tattoo of his number, before being cut and ending up at the Titans, Tigers and the super league.

Good tackle though.
