that’s crazy given the ground only had 25% of its capacity in it. Amateur hour.

Unfortunately half the ground is hill so what crowd you could have there was down on the capacity of what the ground could hold but at the same time it still should have gotten more inside than the crowd that was posted.

Yep, meaning they had to find temporary staff, food, drink, security and whatever else.

Amazing people think it’s just as easy as opening a gate.

We can thank the NRL that these games were played this weekend at any venue, rather than postponed

Of course it was easy last year to schedule at backup venues like Gosford, Kogarah and not have crowds, but when you're allowed to have crowds I can imagine how tough this wouldve been for tickets and organising staff, security, etc.

get real, if these suburban tips aren’t up to it they should have hosted it at a proper stadium, it’s a joke and makes the game look like amateur hour, the to make it a double header just compounds the problem,
Sorry fans you can’t come in as we dont have enough staff, wtf?

Hey mate,

You do realise that new stadiums need to be staffed too?

It’s just the reality of life at the moment. Not everything is going to be perfect and spur of the moment solutions need to be found. A couple of deliberately obtuse nerds tut-tutting it on the internet isn’t going change that.

Move to a Rugby League city and attend some actual games if you care that much. Then you might gain an understanding as to how this stuff actually works.
