Good to see Windsor win one in SS. Although far from convincing campbellton threw it away with too many errors and defensive misses.
A couple of experienced back rowers and moving Brandon Smallwood back into the halves helped.
Windsor deserves credit for their efforts. They came back from down 10-0 then 26-10, to finish over the top of Campbelltown in the last 15 minutes. The boys showed resilience and determination to come up with the win and while nowhere near the top sides, give a good account of themselves and gain valuable experience.

Quite surprised with some of the results in both grades over the weekend. By the looks of it hills are relying on the blokes coming back from north Sydney bears.

Lack of discipline cost Hills this one, nothing to do with players coming back.
2 tries scored while players were in the sin bin gave Wenty all the momentum to get the victory, comfortably in the end.
Rocks or Diamonds kind of team Wenty are.

Anyone heard if Cabramatta are having any kind of reunion for their 2011 Bundy Cup winning team. Be good to catch up with the players and Yatesy and his coaching group

Wests wanted it more.

No idea what's with the downfall of Easts Eagles either. They were a force 2 years back, and now losing to Windsor. Aging squad or lack of quality players? They should look at Dayne Craig and Jake Mullaney from Tahmoor.

That's twice they been run down at home Easts vs Wenty Magpies up 24 -4 and lose 34-30 and Windsor up 24-10 and lose 40-30 - a couple of big losses as well thrown in hasn't helped either.

A must win this Sunday vs Cronulla Caringbah Sharks

I think they maybe struggling to attract players as well perhaps

Cronulla was up 26-0 after 15 minutes against Ryde Eastwood and conceded 44 unanswered points.

Wonder how many times we'll see the lead thrown away on Sunday?

thats pathetic, firstly to be down 26 points at 15 mins and then to concede 44 unanswered.
Looks like some of the Cronulla players minds were thinking they should be playing in RM not SS.

From the cronulla caringbah game I watched, they don’t look fit or capable of playing RMC. They look like a squad mostly full of blokes who have played a lot a A grade, with a few younger blokes that can definitely play.

Hopefully they don't get fit for this weeks game vs East Campbelltown Eagles in that case

Could be a very high scoring game in that case - East Campbelltown have 2 open age teams playing in A Grade comps -Macarthur Wests Tiger Silver and Bronze comps - not sure of the standard as they don't play at Waminda Oval

East Campbelltown were a feeder club for Wests Magpies RMC team - not sure if they still are and if the players are promoted to RMC from their SS side and also if players are promoted from either of the two open age sides to SS. Also if Wests RMC players play in SS for East Campbelltown if not getting game time in RMC.

You would be shocked to know that the Cronulla squad has ex NRL players,an ex Super League player, whom have represented Tonga and Samoa internationally, as well as multiple former NSW Cup players.
I don't think they take footy too seriously anymore, hence the terrible fitness levels etc

I think you'll find, ECE do not send players up to the Wests RMC and Wests RMC send their extras to various Group 6 clubs to get game time.
They don't play together on home games either ,just on away games.
So not very sure what the relationship is,if any between the two clubs.

Correct. For a start 7 to 10 players each week are provided by Glebe so there is not much room for Cronulla players. The only players from last season that have played in 2021 are:

Jyi Seymour 3 games
Rea Pittman 3 games
Cal Tutauha 2 games
Dan Perkins 1 game
DJ Lokeni Purcell 1 game
Peni Mnaumaleeli 1 game

Since CC have played 6 games, that means that an average of 1.8 players per game are from their squad of 35 from last season.

My point was...in the SQUAD they have by far the more experienced players on paper in the Shield comp then most,if not all other clubs.
2 former Nrl players and 1 former Super league player and multiple former Nsw Cup players.
In the squad.
2021 not 2020.

Who are the 7-10 Glebe players?
I can see Josh Natoli is regularly used for Cronulla from Glebe.

From the Ryde-Eastwood match, the following are with Glebe.

1. Jordan Chong Sun
2. Benton Pyako
3.Jarrod Cullen
4. Michael Pearsall
6. Benjamin Jackson
7. Josh Natoli
8. Daniel Arahu
12. Mason McCarthy
25. Jesse Offen
