Some 18 year old kid at the Roosters has 10 try assists in just 7 games! How hard can it be ffs!
Doubt itIn his last 40 games DB has 11 try assists. In Shaun Johnson's last 37 games he has 41 try assists. And these guys are on similar money?
Yeah I meant are currently valued similarly. Johnson doesn't seem to have much demand despite being off contract and if he does get more than Brown it won't be by a lot. IMODoubt it
Twiz has a surprising turn of pace when it is Beer O’Clock and he is stinging for a super dry.
Good hands too. Can carry 4 pints without spilling a drop.
He’d be a shithouse centre though. Spends most of his time drunk.
yeah but being first receiver just passing it to the outside dudes is a possession - which drown does alot of .... again hard to judge that statTownsend has 32 from 47 games though, so even his stats are far superior. Moses has 43 from 55 games. Gutho 38 from 58. But I think Pou pointed out that Brown had more possessions than Moses last year, maybe even over the last two years. So I dunno but Brown seems to be lacking in this regard.
Dylan Brown's LBAs:Needs more LBA analysis
He's played just 3 fewer games than Brown over the last three seasons. And given the difference in those stats he should be worth a fair bit more still. The problem is he is old and showing signs of breaking down. It's hard to put a value on him. If teams were confident he could play 20 games he'd still be worth plenty, but as they say, the best ability is availability.
Yeah but does he do just a quarter of the playmaking Brown does? It doesn't look like that to me.yeah but being first receiver just passing it to the outside dudes is a possession - which drown does alot of .... again hard to judge that stat

FFS striderYeah but does he do just a quarter of the playmaking Brown does? It doesn't look like that to me.
don't get me wrong, I was more excited by Jrthar on sunday than i have been by drown lately .... but i reckon drown isnt as bad as those stats appearYeah but does he do just a quarter of the playmaking Brown does? It doesn't look like that to me.
Yeah I agree it's probably not quite apples with apples but the difference is so great I think we can read something into it. And yeah, was very happy and excited by Jrthur's debut. Looked like he belonged.don't get me wrong, I was more excited by Jrthar on sunday than i have been by drown lately .... but i reckon drown isnt as bad as those stats appear
Thanks PouDylan Brown's LBAs:
2021, 0 LBA (8 games)
2020, 5 LBA (18 games)
2019, 5 LBA (15 games)
Not a whole lot of them.
Which proves my point about expecting too much from a 20 year old. You’re pulling out stats from 150 game players with 8-10 years on Dylan.Townsend has 32 from 47 games though, so even his stats are far superior. Moses has 43 from 55 games. Gutho 38 from 58. Which also proves my other point that everyone expects the next young kid to be a once a generation player. News flash ! You get one every generation.Sam Walker
Dylan Brown is getting more money than Sam Walker will be next year. It doesn't matter how old either of them are. They need to be playing to their pay grade or they will cop criticism.Which also proves my other point that everyone expects the next young kid to be a once a generation player. News flash ! I hear what you’re saying.Dylan Brown is getting more money than Sam Walker will be next year. It doesn't matter how old either of them are. They need to be playing to their pay grade or they will cop criticism.
