He played quite a bit before June lockdown. He was plugging holes as 9 or 6 and is an adpet goal kicker. Hopefully he stays in our system and builds his frame.
A bruised knee surely isnt the issue particularly given he was expected to miss a couple of games then nek minit. Either the injury is more serious or there are other issues.
Strange the recent issues with Roach, Matto and Lussick. Probably just me being the suspicious individual that i am.

Thats a shame but you can't blame him really. We will need to go to market case cuase Roache clearly is too risky to rely on. WTF happened to Schneider?

By memory he was pushed into halves in under 20s earlier this year and then to the bench.
A few on here hyped him up but there was also a few who come out and said he is average and won't see NRL.
I recall stagger perhaps mentioning another kid back in 2019/2020 had already started to look more promising.

Schneider wasn’t even playing NSW cup at 21 so not sure he is an option.

Roache on another development contract wouId be a decent option if he can stay injury free. He is due for some luck.

I think TCT mentioned the 21’s hooker (Yates ?) may have some potential.

While Rein may be a cheapie / back up option

The hooker and backs department needs to be looked at for next year. Peachey would be a good option as a backup hooker as well as a utility. We definitely need a good winger with Fergo leaving

Assuming Blake, Dunster, Will, Sivo are our top 17 (subject to injury ), we have got Perham, Russell, Sam L , Opacic as back ups.

So yeah we probably need another cheapie experienced back.

Yeah the past it the past, let's not learn from it. Especially our coach.
What are we to learn from the past? That the Storm have a better team than us and we don't want to meet them in the finals? Souths have a better team as well. So do Penrith. Does that mean some merkin needs to get the sack?

The Storm didnt have better players a few weeks ago. Penrith wouldnt have had better players if Moses kicks that goal on fulltime. Souths? Well I think its obvious they have superior coaching. So wheres the problem Poo. It appears maybe we dont have one.

Well why do you think we've won so many spoons? Arthur's wasn't coach for all of them. Twelve other merkins won spoons at our club as well. They can't all have been as shit as Brad Arthur's. Maybe coaching isn't a magic bullet after all.

Or maybe we have been consistently run by a bunch of morons that just had their own self interests as the main priority and not what was best for the football club and employing Neville nobodies most of the time.

Look at the Sea Eagles. They have never had a wooden spoon, had brilliant administrators from the 70's onwards or people in charge that actually care about the football club(even when they fight amongst themselves) and put millions of their own $$$$ into it and therefore hire high quality personnel in key positions to succeed. Even now with their limited funds they seem to still have the capacity to identify and higher quality merkins to make sure that there are always great kids coming through.

We in the same period from the 70's on were for most of the time over that period always in the top 10 profit earning clubs in NSW and other then that stellar 11 year period from 76 to 86 have been a basket case of disappointments and massive wasted $$$$ and opportunities.

So maybe that is the reason mate. Hopefully we will never, ever go back to that type of management again and from here on it's to infinity and beyond!

Mate you're completely wrong. The better team doesn't always win, just most of the time, and especially when it matters. You don't judge who's the better team by their performance in a single game. You judge them over the full season, because it's a bigger sample. For and against is also more reliable because it is more granular.

Yeah exactly. The coach isn't the cause of any of that, he is just another symptom.
