To'o in a moon boot. Kenny on crutches. Edwards and Kikau hobbling. Seems like a Queensland camp in the leadup to Origin. They paraded them all in front of the cameras too.

Gus says when weak, you feign strength, and when strong you feign weakness.

My thinking exactly. It was all too perfect.

To beat Melbourne we need to restrict them to less than 20 points and score at least three tries overselves. We have beaten them in 3 out of the last 6 times we played them. Of course they beat us in last years all important GF but we are a chance if we can recover our attacking thrust.

Melbourne don’t like being bashed up the middle and they don’t like chasing points. They are very good front runners.

Bash the shit out of them in the middle and score early.

Problem is, we always seem to start games pretty slow. We would have to buck our usual trend in that regard.

That’s the amusing part about this whole debacle.

Every single Parra fan who is whingeing about the ref call on this is 100% certain that they would’ve scored a try in the ensuing play.

They’re basing an alleged “near certainty’ purely on a sliding doors moment.
And if we lost, we would have been seething about the Luai no try. Moses milked that for all it was worth. Which leads me to another point. Why is it that a ref can call out a player who is trying to milk a penalty in the play the ball ruck, yet let Moses got away with what he did?

We have to be brutal early in defence. So much so that their next carrier lifts his eyes to see who is going to flatten him. Need Storm to make mistakes on the back of our big hits.
Bomb the hell out of Jennings and Paps and drive them back really hard. Destroy their confidence. Mistakes will come. We need to use our 2003 Team catch cry. " ONE CHANCE "

Storm kick early and often to Addo Carr's side. We need to watch out for this. Storm also play with a very tight compressed defence. There is room around or smart kicks by Cleary behind their line to test them. Keep them guessing.

Again, we can win via or defence being brutal by putting them off their game.
Most saw how fragile Paps was when he returned. Give him something to think about Boys. Love to see Martin really lift and smash someone, then stand over them expressionless with absolute Demon eyes.

All about killing their confidence. Look how shell shocked they were in GF last year when we finally made a charge.
They barely hung on because we took the game that they play away from them. We killed their momentum. Storm do not like this, neither does Bellamy. I want to see him blow his f**king fuse. Even he can be put off.
There is no point wondering what we could of done afterwards. JUST f**king do it. You wanna play the GF, then leave nothing in your tank.

DISRUPTION. DISRUPTION. DISRUPTION.
Play the grind and the Storm win. Upsetting their rhythm is the key. This will lift our self belief.
THEY CAN BE BEAT AND WE CAN DO IT.

PANTHER PRIDE.

OH, DID I MENTION, BE BRUTAL !!!

Bit worried about Sorenson, he copped a pretty good wack on the nose from Niukore. Niukore got a match suspension but only because he had 4 priors in the last 2 years.

Agreed. It’s why we need to seriously bash them in the middle, put them off their game, rattle their confidence and force mistakes. They don’t like when things don’t go to plan for them.

we did it to them early in the season and Parra did it to them a few weeks ago.
