1 actual centre who is a solid journeyman. Naden is a winger at NRL level and Burton is a rep quality 5/8. Tago will kill it

Edwards will break down within a month. Then we need a 2nd new centre when Crichton goes back

The 17 from GF game

Edwards
??
Crichton ( I move him to centre because that is certain )
??
To'o
Luai
Cleary
JFH
Api
Leota
Martin
??
Yeo

??
Kikau
Leinu
Sorensen

I think Tago comes into the 17 somewhere. Whether he replaces Burton or Capewell is the question

Still leaves a few gaps to sort out. Not to mention when Origin and injuries hit. Who we get to fill those last 5 spots are crucial to how close we go to back to back

A society that wants to keep folks healthy. Wow how dreadful is that.

I'll have that anyday.

No different to the no jab no child care, and the no jab no social security benefits then.

Cause and effect.
You think they give a shit about your health? All they give a shit about is money, power and control.

I'm not one that subscribes to the majority of the conspiracy theories, but if you believe the bullshit being peddled by the governments and World Health Organisation you are just as stupid as the Qanon freaks. 99% of people with even an ounce of intelligence will agree without hesitation that governments and big corporations are corrupt as f**k, yet they will swallow the covid rhetoric hook, line and sinker. It blows my mind.

My best mate has the heart issues from the Phizer. No underlying conditions, fit healthy bloke, hasn't smoked for 20 years, rarely drinks and in hospital a few hours after the second shot. He should recover, but it will be a while. I had a heart attack 2 years ago and blood clots a few months before that. I went to my gp about the vax and he said not to take the Astra because of my history and he was concerned about the Phizer. He was going to give me an exemption, but wanted a second opinion from my heart specialist. Had the consult over the phone and he wouldnt back the exemption, he asked if I'd had chest pains which I said no, then he ran through the meds I'm on and got them wrong, I'm not confident the merkin was even looking at the correct medical history. I got the impression they are under instructions to push the vax hard. You sign an indemnity before you get it, so they are free and clear no matter what. I get the 2nd shot Thursday week, so I'll see what happens after that. They will keep extending lockdown for the unvaxxed, so no choice really.

It makes me laugh that the vaxxed would label me a selfish merkin for prefering not to take the risk of the shot to protect them when they are vaxxed themselves anyway. Sounds legit..............

I have a daughter with major heart and lung issues. She is double vaxxed with the Phizer. No problems at all.

How did you go with your 1st AZ dose ?

I ended up with the Phizer. The AZ is a no go because of the clots.

After the first shot I felt fine, a tiny bit sore at the injection site that lasted for a day or two. About 12 hours after the shot pretty severe chest pains that lasted a few hours. Called the specialist the next day, his only concern was that I didnt go to the hospital, but still said to get the second shot. It's a load of shit, but unless I want to be a hermit or end up with whatever punishment they come up with over the next few months then I have to roll the dice.

From the reading I've done their appears to be few, especially when considering the amount of folks being vaccinated.

My own family is filled with heart disease no one has had any severe side effects.

I suffer from chonic and severe R/Arthritis and Osteo Arthritis. Heart disease etc. I was fine.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had problems with the vaccination.

The medical advice for people for a history of blood clots is they are no more at risk from the AstraZeneca vaccine then anyone else. The clotting issue caused by the vaccine is an immune response it’s not linked to blood clots caused by the common reasons like deep vein thrombosis . I have a family friend who had a clot the size of half her leg she almost died a couple years ago and was given astra no problems at all. I know others in my family with history of clots less severe who had astra.

It is what it is. My issue is the lack of choice around it. Right now being unvaxxed is on par with being a Jew in Berlin at around 1934. The parallels between the covid situation and the rise of the Nazi party is pretty hard to ignore. I say that as a history buff who has studied the hows and whys of 20th century conflicts extensively, not someone who watched a redneck talking shit on youtube. Where it goes from here who knows, so I'm not suggesting it will continue to follow the same path, but it's cause for concern.

Imagine how much worse it would be for such folks to actually got Covid 19. Might as well buy their cemetery plot.

I would have preferred the Astra tbh. My gp was dead against it though. One of the shittiest parts of this whole thing is the conflicting information. It would be much easier to believe if the info was consistent and the rules around what is and isnt allowed made sense as well

I disagree strongly with you're comment about Nazi Germany. Not getting into a discussions with you about it.

Being vaccinated is about be willing to help keep the wide community, you're friends and rels safe.

More chance of being run over by a double decker bus in reverse than side effects to the vaccine.

It's your right to disagree with me, I'd also be interested in you dm'ing me info that could change my mind.

On the same hand I'm more than happy to provide you the evidence that more people have had adverse reactions to the vaccine than have been reversed over by double decker busses in the same time frame.

The nazis rose to power on a wave of anger and dissatisfaction in Germany after the harsh penalties imposed on them after ww1. The financial penalties were very harsh and they were already struggling after losing a long and brutal war that has the country exhausted, this made life tough on the people in Germany who had to foot the bill so to speak, hitler was able to harness the general anger and turn it to his own purpose which was literally trying to take over the world. Exterminating those the nazis deemed undesirables like the Jewish people and many others was a secondary goal. I think to suggest there are parallels to now is ridiculous and that is putting it nicely. Being unvaccinated means you can’t go some places and if you hold out long enough that will eventually change as it has in Britain and other countries who’s path we are following, it’s nothing like anything that happened in Germany under the nazis.

I know why it happened and concur with what you have posted. I'm talking about the parallel with how control was achieved by the erosion of free choice. I'm not suggesting that the unvaxxed will be headed to the gas chambers. I get it's a pretty extreme example.

As for the freedoms to be given back, I hope you're right. It's one argument I'm very happy to lose and look like a dick. I'm still concerned about it at this stage though.

Fact of the matter. The % rate of reaction per million doses of the vaccine are very low.

At times the illness may have occured without the vaccine been given. Like when a person has the flu shot and a couple of days later comes down with a strong case of the flu.

The flu germ was already in his system at the time of the vaccine been given.

I'm not arguing that the percentages are low. My argument is it should be a choice and it isn't as things stand right now. I'm not anti vax, my partner has had it, and so have my kids. I'm annoyed that I either have to take it or live in lockdown limbo.
