I’m with Inferno..
It’s KP for the Dolphins . 1.2 plus for three to five years..maybe 1.4
He’d be mad to stay at Newcastle..maybe mad to go to the Dolphins but f**k what a story if he does.
The old master and the young fella…

sounds like a hamster porn category.

Word is the Milf will sign with the Knights for a year before linking up with the Dolphins back under Wayne.

This is all pending the outcome of his criminal matters though.

Imagine being a knights fan and being seen as a transit lounge or place to go where you get some good $ only to f**k off to a better deal.

The knights should be a powerhouse instead they are just a house.

They lurched from the Johns retirement to the TInkler/Bennett debacle and have never truly recovered.

Nathan Brown starting moving the ship in the right direction and they're still progressing slowly but if they lose Ponga I think they will quickly return to be cellar dwellers.

It surprising they're doing so poorly for a team in rugby league heartland.

They should be but it’s f**king delicious they aren’t.

I have a soft spot for the Knights as my old man was born and bred Stocko, but they can clearly be looked at in success terms as BJ and AJ.
Not that we can really say much about success rates, just reminding myself..

And don't forget Andrew Gee. I know the Creepin Jesus was able to find a spot for him in the Coaches Box when he was at Souffs.

Mates rates apparently.

Jesse will be playing there 34/35 year of age, hardly a coup.

Nichols is 6 months younger and has the plods about him. Smacks of retirement fund to me. Dolphins are struggling.

Sheeze they have now signed KennyB for 3 yrs apparently. He is of course Jesse's not so younger brother and he is also well into his 30's. The Dolphs are going to have a lot of old dead wood in the 2nd and 3rd seasons.

If they arn't struggling in 2023, then they more than likely will be struggling in 2024, not to mention that particular cap thingy.

Thats always been the case... Maybe at this time of his life he might want to leave more of an ongoing legacy. From my own experience I do know your outlook changes ,closer you get to seeing your own demise.

I've always been hoping that the Dolphs will annually be raiding the Donkeys playing stock like marauding vikings but alas if they don't have the money (i.e. in 2024) then they don't get the players. Simple as that

I suppose I can still hope.

Thats Probably the long and short of it ,but ever optimistically I hope they can put together a reasonably competitive team, with a draw CARD OR TWO . Surely we can match the Victorian fan base ,in what is supposed to be a rugby league state! I will Try my best to attend any game against the Sharks!
