Nathan Brown was never recruited as an assistant coach ffs, he is involved in scouting and junior pathways for us. Something he has always wanted to do. Its something we desperately need.

No idea where you guys get your ideas from.

The Parramatta Eels have engaged former NRL player and Head Coach Nathan Brown to lead a review into its Elite Pathways program.

The Club remains focused on continuing to increase the number of local juniors in our NRL squad in line with its development club philosophy.

Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill said that the review is looking at how the Eels can offer the best Elite Pathways program available so that our local talent has the best opportunity to progress through to NRL level.

Looks like BA was involved in the decision making, why would you sign a new assistant if you are looking at moving on the head coach?? You wouldn’t, Baldie is going nowhere just like this club.

What are your thoughts on the T-Baz's appointment.

Was it the best we could do or would you have preferred to look somewhere else.

Barrett is basically damaged goods atm and a bit of running joke considering what he has done to Manly & Canterbury.

Exactly my thoughts. I wonder why BA wouldn’t consider someone like Seibold? I think he has plenty to offer. Is it because he is a chance of being a NRL first grade coach again? He is a former NRL coach of the year and has already achieved more than BA has. I’m almost certain he has reached a preliminary final with Souths.

If BA is to stay, my choice as an assistant would be Siebold also. Barrett and Maguire offer no threat. Think of that what you may.

If BA is sacked at seasons end would Barrett still have a job? I suppose it depends who decided to hire him.

He overcoached them.

Tried to turn them into penrith when they simply didnt have the players or talent required to play like penrith.

Instead of coaching the strengths of the players he had at his disposal.
