Look I don't think we were that bad. Yeah we made mistakes & we certainly have and can play better.

But name me one team that would have beaten Penrith on Friday night fresh off a week off.

Scoreline blew out after Moses and Lane leaving due to HIA in space of 2 mins.

Penrith while having the momentum at that stage of game. Moses leaving gave Penrith just another leg up and for us well Jake wasn't going to win us the game in 20 mins. So the game ended there.
Blake's four unforced errors were unlucky as well. That doesn't happen every week. In the past we've had some luck when Dylan Edwards has dropped bombs or let them bounce. He dropped another one on Friday but unfortunately Blake said hold my beer. In hindsight he shouldn't have been drinking alcohol during an NRL match. ffs Arthur's!

No we also have Perham, like I said. Plus Rankin could play, same as any other player outside the top 30.
Rankin does not have a contract that enables him to take the field in the NRL. The fact that he isn't one of 36 players on the clubs team list on the web page is probably a dead giveaway of this. He also reportedly knocked back the option to be one.

Perham is a player of last resort, not a back up. I didn't include the players of last resort in my back up list of each team, this would've added another couple of players to each club.

Players outside the Top 30 are even lower than last resort players. I suspect there is a couple more at each club also.

He is top 30 and listed on the official site as a 'five-eighth'.
So are all of those players I listed. Still doesn't get away from the fact that he is considered a player of last resort, for any position in the team, by our coaching staff. To get a run on the wing, Sivo, Blake, Niukore, Dunster, and Russell, all had to be injured at the same time. That's essentially your 6th choice winger. We'd never give him a game in the spine when it mattered, and you know this.

The fact that he is the second back up option in the 1,6 or 7 is the issue.

I know you can't compare individuals and their recovery from concussion but on the face of things, given Cam Murray is playing this week after his knock last week and he also has a bit of a history of concussion already this year, I'd have thought Moses is a good chance of playing next week. I can't remember him having suffered a concussion before.

No matter what happens in the next 2 or 3 weeks Jake needs to be loaned out to another club next season for 12 months.

It's the best move for all parties. Jake gets away from his father shadow where he gets picked without the feeling he is giving special favours.

Jake is on a hiding to nothing pulling on the parra jersey while ever his dad is here.

Let's see how Jake goes in another system and develop. He can come potentially back in 2024.

Multiple Clubs were supposedly chasing him a month ago before the August 1 deadline so let's see surely nothing has changed in a month where clubs would have turned off him.

Agree. Windsor wolves or Wenty magpies perhaps would be great options.

Is he really worse than Kurt Falls, who is 26 years old and has played 3 NRL games?

Both Moses and BA were very jovial before the match, whereas Cleary and Luei were very serious. There was talk that this showed us as relaxed and the Panthers nervous. This was clearly not the case on the Panthers side. My view is that we aren't a team that should ever been relaxed...if we're relaxed our minds are not on the job. When we're serious, then we seemed focussed. When we're focussed, then we're capable of anything

I suspect our entire team did not give this game the focus and respect it deserved, but I don't think we were ever winning 6 games in a row to win the comp, so we had to have a let down at some point. We're three wins from a Premiership, it's starts this week.
It’s a BA specialty. That’s why he’s never won a comp and why he never will.
