Hes right though. Nothing short of a Cleary injury stops the back to back 🤷‍♂️ panthers are in better condition than they were last year

Same was said about us in 2019 after week 1 but raiders caught fire and came within a bees dick.

Cowboys have very similar vibes about them.

Only hope at beating them was parra and that was only based on the fact that parra won twice against panthers twice this year. I think this week proved the panthers are the better team when they need to be.

Was that live footage of Victor Radley during the game?

Thing is the Easts players should have put their emotions away and ignored the revenge for Teddy. If they would have simply concentrated on the game, it would have been a different result.

Easts to me attacking wise looked out of sorts and not much in variation and looked at times rudderless with Teddy.

But it is what it is, so commiserations.
Yes they were rudless without Teddy,...and manu, toupu, suallii
Congrats souffs. Better team won.
The better
Robbo needs to re-think the Roosters style of play. HIA and high contact rules are going to limit their success.
Roosters are far too structured. When plan B is needed they have nothing.

At the end of the day we just need to be better next year. It took us half a season to work out our halves combination and best forwards rotation. From there we needed to win 8 straight to ensure a finals spot.

We only needed one more win to finish 4th noting we lost games to both knights and Bulldogs this year so we only have ourselves to blame for being in this position.

There won't be much changing next year so I feel we should be able to win more games in the first half of the season and give ourselves a better chance to finish top 4.
Manu to fullback is the key but no chance it happens

Let's be serious, Roosters were without internationals and origin players Teddy, toupu, Collins, stilli, manu, Crichton, Suallii out of position and first choice centre Smith out and souths only won by 2 tries :D

A serous team ( Panthers, Cowboys, sharks, eels) would have put 50 on them, even the Titans or Tigers would have won that game.

Great game! Great weekend all round.
JWH is an absolute Warrior. Gets carried away sometimes but every team needs one of these type of players.

Disagree.

The style is fine, nothing wrong with good hard footy. Crightons was a technique issue and teddy copped a high shot.

What we need to do is bank a few more points on the first half of season so we don't need to play at 100% for 8 weeks to even make the finals.
