The key to Penrith's success belongs to the Kiwis

With the Penrith backline failing to fire for Samoa and the hooker failing fiji.
It's as clear as ever that the front row of FISHER-HARRIS and Mosos was the engine room that put Penrith on the front foot . Now they play for the Kiwis and they're joined by Nelson , JWH and TAPINE.
Watch out.

Also, Nathan Cleary was manufactured in NZ by the Mount Albert Lions. Halfbacks in Australia don't tackle like that unless they're A. Johns. You're welcome Penrith.

As a Panthers fan I couldn't give a toss how the Panthers players perform in rep games as long as:
a) they don't get injured
b) their rep form doesn't negatively impact their club form

Having said that, it's pretty obvious to anyone who watches the Panthers play that they are very defence-oriented, and that all starts in the front-row.

Samoa has a lot of issues, including a distinct lack of pride and complete contempt of their coach. But additionally, their spine is trash:
- Suualii is not a fullback. His anticipation and positioning is poor, and he doesn't know how to organise his defensive line.
- Neither Luai nor Milford are game managing halves, and both lack the kicking game to strangle a team. Behind a well-beated forward pack, they were never given a chance to shine.
- Danny Levi probably wouldn't make a Top 50 list of hookers playing the game. His passing is terrible, and he struggles to dominate in defence, putting pressure on everyone around him.

Let's not forget either, that they didn't touch the ball for the final 20mins of the match. Can't really blame the outside backs for that...

Point being, within the Penrith team there are two groups.
The first are no nonsense hardarses who lead by example. The second are the primadonna backline.

I would have gone with Tevita at half back to balance out thier backline and offer some game management. Of course nobody could see my point, maybe now they can 🤷‍♂️

Penrith have arguably the best 2 front rowers in the comp. They're good across the park but Jfh an Leota bashed Parramatta into submission as they did all year.
If they pull those performances out against Australia, Cleary will be kicking off the back foot, Munster will get bad ball and Adocarr will be freezing his nuts off.

They are a champion team. Break them up and you don't get the same outcome. New Zealand were playing Jamaica FFS. The Penrith team with the Penrith coach would have put quite a score on England.

It'll be a good game all right.

Has there ever been a better RL set of forwards in one team than this kiwi pack? It’s insane the size and quality in this Ireland game.

Straight after the Ch9 News sports report of the SF there was a story about the Wannabees new Skipper who was born in Samoa but “is glad his parents moved from Samoa so he could play for Australia” 😂😂
