Some of them also seem to think they can also get Laurie in a package deal swap for Klemmer. All just fan talk of course, but was interesting to see what their point of view is.

My guess is the Bateman/Hastings story has some juice to it. I’d be willing to cut Hastings to get Bateman, next year is a write off, so if we have to cop 12 months of Brooks. So be it. Just upgrade at seasons end.

That seems to be an issue with the Tigers at the moment this "back to the future" way of looking at things Keep Brooks as halfback cause he was a local junior developed by the Tigers and disregard what any other signing has done when in that position.
