Anyone who plays NSW Cup this week won't play next week.

Liam Henry and Falls can be ruled out

So looking something like below 17 to be named with Martin, Yeo, Cleary/Luai, To'o the 18-21.
Keen to see Jenkins get a run, particularly given To'o is always targeted hard in Origin and good opportunity to get Garner a run given Martin should be managed with care for a while.

Edwards, Turuva, Peach/Tago, Crichton, Jenkins, Luai/Cogger, Cleary/Cogger, Leota, Kenny, Fish, Garner, Hosking, Smith, Luke, Leniu, Sorenson, Salmon

I think Crichton plays 6. Peach/Tago centres

We really need to see Jenkins have a run with a proper first grade side to see what he has

Could use a soild cheap mainstay in our backline

I think he has plenty of talent. Size, speed and he is a specialist centre. I feel he will get a run next year but if Teddy has a shit go in SOO game 1, Edwards walks in, Crichton to FB and he would be the obvious pick.

I feel like we've staggered with the whole development of players this season. I'd be giving him a crack. He reminds me of Matt Cooper.

It's like IC has this fear of not being a top four side after two premierships and is sticking to a certain formula.

To be fair Ivan has always been like that.

Moylan only got a start due to injury. A few others in that same boat across the years

Ivan's major obsession has always been smaller backrowers/utilities in the centres.

He even tried it in the 2020 GF.

Only issue I have with Ivan being conservative is he really didn't appreciate what Api brought enough and not enough was done to keep him.

Also the club in general has overrated Kenny and Luke. If we had a good hooker we would be undefeated even having lost Kikau. Christ I don't understand how we're leading the competition at the moment despite being nowhere near as good as we were last year.

We've been really bad at times and have been in every game up to the 80th minute... Obviously that's on the back of our incredible defence. But still... It's pretty sad for the rest of the competition.

To his credit though, over the past 5 years there haven't been many players who have got the eventual chance in first grade and haven't been ready from day one to play their role. He might take a bit longer than some clubs, but we also don't flame our kids out and ruin them because they're not ready and not lighting it up immediately.

I certainly find it bizarre we've gone with Peach over Jenkins this past month but hopefully he gets his shot over the next stretch.

I'd say we'll see a couple exceptions to the 'no one who plays NSW Cup or Origin the week prior plays' theory. Luai may only get 60 minutes in Origin. Less than a game in 17 days with a 4 day break, not an onerous load at all. Cleary has had more injury issues and is more crucial, I'd definitely rest him as much as possible.

Our back 5 and pack rotation is just so far ahead of anyone else in the arm wrestle. Parra is legit the only side that can go toe to toe for 80 mins when we turn up at 90%. We've been super average but still largely dominated every contest.
