I used to really dislike the concept of Thursday night footy, as I'd always forget to get my footy tips in on time.

But now I'm glad it exists, as it gives us a little something before the weekend to watch, and get us through that final 5th f**ker of a workday.

Yeah i dont mind it except when were playing. At least spread out the Thursday Night games.

Losing on Thursday bloody sucks.

Last year we had 4 games in the first 5 weeks on a Thursday.

2 were home games and we had tickets to the Allianz game against the chooks through a work client who gave us tickets in his box.

So by Round 5 last year we were sick of getting home at close to midnight on Thursday's nights having to get up for work on a Friday.

Joey left himself out there.

His 1st half in 2001 was special no matter what you think of him as a bloke.

He and Kennedy tore us to shreds in that first half.
