I didn't click when Cena eliminated Punk, but clicked pretty much as soon as Cody turned down Rock.
What a time to do it as well. A heel Cena in his last Mania, that was not on the bingo card.

Womens chamber surprised me! I wouldn't say it was particularly good, but it did have good moments like THAT hair whip.

Tiff/Trish match was all a bit meh.

Zayn and Owens was a great watch, and Orton returning at the end is exciting. I do wonder where Zayn will slot in at WM now.

Mens chamber was pretty decent, and honestly I could have seen any of them bar maybe Priest win it. McIntyre needs a moment in front of fans, Punk needing to win at WM, Cena on his retirement tour, Paul was the next most unlikely to win but honestly considering how good of a heel he is, and how many more people would tune in then I could see it have been a possibility, and Rollins who you can never really count out. That all said, it didn't really have me on the edge of the seat until it was down to the final 3.

The more the match went on, I was more unsure who was gonna win. When they teased an alliance of Cena and Punk, I thought Rollins would defeat the odds and go all the way, then they built Punk up to kick out of everything - 2 AAs, a pedigree, a stomp and an STFU... too many false finishes.

THEN THAT TURN. Can't wait to see how the next 10 months go!

Where does this leave Roman for Mania? Looks like they'll do Punk and Rollins, Mcintyre and Priest. Also leaves Logan an odd man out from the Chamber as well, although I could see him facing Styles

Yeah I agree on Priest… I get they are trying to push Priest vs Drew… but he seemed out of place in that match…

not physically or technically speaking… he can certainly hang with them all… but narratively he didn’t seem to make much sense.

they really should have put Jacob Fatu in there IMO…

There’s been no signs of it but Sami is the sort of opponent they give Logan Paul. I could see them running Sami vs Paul since it looks like Punk will face Seth and nobody else is involved with Paul.

TBH, I can see a world where this would happen.

They could have Zayn off TV (due to kayfabe injuries), meanwhile Paul can start an angle trying to get himself an opponent for Mania. Saying things like no one else is man enough, or worthy enough to face him at WM. As the weeks pass by, an increasingly frustrated Paul turns on up the cockiness to try and goad someone into a feud with.

During WM itself, Paul can come out and issue a challenge, says no one wants it, says all the superstars know they can't match it with him. Goes on about how these superstars train for years, and in the short time he's been on the roster, that he's the best they have. Samis music hits, and match is on.

Yeah Roman surely helps Cody in this situation as a sort of 'we're even now' scenario.
But you also have to remember the rumble. Punk dumps Rollins and reigns, punk gets dumped. Reigns mouthing off to punk before he gets stomped on the floor and stairs and Punk and Rollins brawl. I can see that being a triple threat at WM. Or 'The favour' rolls into to it all somehow.

Sure Cena wins at mania now? I originally hoped that Cody would turn heel (because his character is getting hella boring) but this will make his 17th title win more entertaining.

Bianca winning was a good call, but they need to do something to build interest in the match. Face Ripley vs Face Bianca is a bit dull at the moment, considering how many emotionally charged matches are in the card.

Speaking of - that Owens/Zayn match was f**king brutal. Some of those spots would have made Mick Foley wince!

That would work. Sami did the Knoxville match so you know he’d work a celebrity.

Came across this, thought it was funny. Especially since a lot of what I've seen is how will R-Truth react.

Surely he does

He can continue to feud with Cody after Mania and then has a natural feud with Punk main eventing at Summerslam.

It probably culminates against Roman next year at Mania especially if the Rock remains in Cena's corner.

This year is his last WM.
At least that's what we've been told.
That could obviously be a work, but I don't think we'll see Cena wrestle at WM42

Surprised no one has mentioned Wrestlemania.

TBH, I watched it on and off. I'm beginning to feel I'm too old for it nowadays. Not because I don't enjoy it, but because it's changed too much for me - well, especially the PPVs. My main gripe with it is they don't protect finishers anymore.
How many finishers got kicked out of that triple threat match alone. It's not just a WM thing either, Punk became superman in the chamber. I really do yearn for the days that if a finisher got kicked out of, it was a rarity and it was genuinely shocking.
Also didn't appreciate Travis Scott having such a big input in the main event. I get you can't have it like WM40 where you roll out all the legends etc, but it just doesn't seem to make much sense.

Don't get me wrong, there was some good things to come out of Mania, but for the first time in a very long time, I feel that it's no longer my thing.

Honestly, the build up was poor and didn't really captivate me. The Rock was a massive part of the Cena heel turn, then doesn't appear. Ripley got into a title match despite having no right to be in it. GUNTHER going against Jey Uso is just meh. Both mens tag titles were just there, very little build. The 3 Way was built really strange, focusing on the manager rather than any real beef between the combatants. The only match that had something even resembling an interesting build up was the IC Title.

So for me, there just wasn't that big thing to draw you in.

To me it was so late this year that a lot of the build was really strange, take Jey vs Gunther which has been in the works since January - it had a whole lot of A town down under rubbish before it finally got good when Gunther murdered Jimmy and Jey cut a scorching promo the following week. Then the go home angle was dull. the match itself was good though

A lot of matches were built similarly, just a mismatched build leading into an okay match.

The triple threat matches were both fantastic, as was Logan/AJ, Priest/Drew and the fatal four way. The main event was a little dull, but as Cena said, he would ruin wrestling and we get nothing. He’s going down the “I want 100% of the audience to hate me” route as opposed to the “I want to do some great heel work” which is fair because the latter would probably see him getting cheered.

What the f**k was Travis Scott doing involved? Who wanted that?
Main event would have been 100% better if The Rock turned up and did exactly what Scott did.
Could have been 500% better if The Rock turned up doing Rock things with the same outcome.

Didn't bother watching. Don't know when I will. I didn't watch 37 or 38 until the build for 40. From reading the recaps and seeing "highlights" online, the only thing I wish I'd seen live was the Joe Hendry reveal. I probably would have turned day 1 off as soon as Jey won.
The Austin f**k up lol. They'll never let that man near an ATV again. I'm sure the Karen was playing it up but still. I remember when they had to start taking the stairs away cause Austin hit them once and ended up on 1 or 2 wheels. Lucky he salvaged that but he was a lot younger then.
