Dragons were very tough and didn't give up at any stage. Maybe last week caught up with them a bit late in the game but still a great effort holding that dragons side out...they came to play! Right centre for next week will be interesting ..assuming it won't be Naden

Thought that was our worst game of the year, the only acceptable part was from 20-39mins. Got lucky that sua went full r*t*rd on halftime. He scores that and we lose.

Forwards looked tired but 4th trip out of Sydney in 4 weeks, off golden point and shport turn around. Now another away trip to Melbourne, I expect us to get smacked.

Ref did us no favors, couldn’t buy a penalty or set restart, particularly in the second half.

I guess that’s first time I can say ‘we were shit but still won’ for the first time in years. we’re 5-4 and finish round 9 in rhe 8 for the first time since 2011.

I thought the sign of a good team is playing bad and still winning which the Tigers did tonight. It felt to me like the Tigers thought they had the Dragons covered (bar a few nervous moments) and didn't have to put all their effort into defence. If you make the finals and we don't I'm straight onto your bandwagon so save a spot for me you mad merkins.
Good luck in 2025.

We're in the top 8 again.
5 wins with 4 losses, to date.
Those 2 near loses are a punish, we've could've been at the top of the ladder.
Maybe Benji can coach a bit when he has some talent to work with.
I think next week (against Storm) will show us, where we're at.
R 10 - Storm (A)
R 11 - Bunnies (H)
R 12 - Bye

If we could get the whole 6 pts, would set us up for the rest of the season.
But getting 4 pts will do.

We’re building, off a pretty good foundation now, some nice looking set pieces yesterday, execution wasn’t always perfect but you can see we are a bit of a threat in attack. Bula is such a dangerous player, footwork, awesome hip movement and just starting to show up in the right places

One thing to consider, the drags didn't go up there, to roll over.
They're not a mug side, they go OK. We are not world beaters yet.
But these slow starts after half time is a worry.
Two more games, then the bye, it can't come quick enough.

Just looking at the Bula try, does Seyfarth get the try assist, for his tackle hahaha

Yep, but I'd rather win ugly than lose pretty.

I think Galvin has been taking way too many late tackle options especially kicking. I though Luai kicked a lot more and we looked heaps better. I thought Galvin was better this game as well.
I'm happy atm with how our spine in particular are progressing. If they continue to improve we should retain that 8 spot.
The team as a whole however, still has defensive issues.
I don't think it has too much to do with technique or game plans but more about switching off and bad reads (situational awareness)
We have to train well in order to stop the Storm.

We can score points and I think that is much more important to winning a comp and making the finals.

I'm extremely happy. Luai was the big story to me. He was heavily involved. He needs to do that week in and week out. Bula has been killing it. I reckon if Api finds top form we will improve again. I'd prefer Latu over Galvin. Galvin is coming up with really poor options amongst to be fair a lot of good stuff. His forward pass/knock on on their line when we had 6th again was atrocious. Alternatively Benji needs to manage Galvin better.

Staines deserves a wrap. Doueihi does as well. We had To'a and Skelton out last night and they walk into the team if they are fit. Our depth in the outside backs is pretty good.

Personally I'm not worried about our defense at all. I'm worried about Bula's defense but not the teams.

Just watching the replay, Seyfarth is doing a shit load of work, off the ball.

He is killing it this season isn't he. He does a lot of work with the ball as well. They dropped at the end was poor but he is playing well.

I noticed Pole just ran hard at the line after he lossed the ball in the tackle instead of pissing around trying to sidestep aka Frezell..
Desilva could have come on earlier..it think it was raining when he did get a run ?
