I dont think either of Gus or Politis f**k with his manager. So i dont think either of the clubs will look at him. Bulldogs maybe as i think Gus could be swayed. For all Gus has said about Galvin, i think he's said more about Hayward.

Galvin to Parra has to be the money.
Shows how much you f’in know, Gus & his manager broke bread some mths back for this moment maybe if you got your head out of your ass you’d see that!

I'd love it to be the Dogs. Burton back with the Dogs paying freight would be 🤩🤩🤩

Unlikely but it would fix our left centre issue. Would love it to happen.

Dogs would be looking at Galvin for 2026. Whereas Eels want Galvin now in 2025. They've got the perfect player to release in Brown as long as the Knights do their part.

I'd be very surprised if the Dogs upended their 2025 season by releasing players just to sign Galvin. They are 1st on the ladder and Sexton/Hayward are working just fine alongside Burton. Looks way too messy and has potential to destroy their great start to 2025.

Mitch Woods is probably the best halves prospect since Nathan. The Dogs have no reason to f**k around with Galvin but Gus probably can't help himself. He's awful with the cap

On the one hand its kinda disappointing a lot of these guys, a tight knit group since their teens, didn't take unders to stay together. But then, they achieved everything you could ever imagine together so why would they? They all have other things to chase. Critta has gone and been a hugely inspirational club captain and main man of a franchise. Luai is going down that same path. Fish is helping build the sport in his community which is amazing. Leniu went to the pinnacle and oh wait...

I think the biggest mistep in retrospect was the Tago & Leota deals. We grab a solid benchie like Mat Croker instead of Leota and who knows what we have to play with to keep one core guy that left. You never could have planned for May & Fish leaving abruptly though.
Nah we lose both Leota and JFH and it's crazy how much we're losing in front row at the same time in that case.

Al this talk about who we could have, should have, maybe in hindsight, offered more to, they went for not much more, got fullback money, is very interesting and yet very much detracting from the club just abiding by the rules of the salary cap whilst at the same time dealing with the bottom feeding player agents.

For the life of me, after 5 straight GF appearances and four premierships, why the third party money is not pouring into Penrith like it does in Brisbane for those egomaniac pretenders.

This would go a long way to help keep our good ones.

Sadly because there is socio economic bias going on. It is Penrith after all. With the Druitt' being nearby. Hardly the big end of town. In the eyes of some companies. If it was the dogs, Manly, Souffs, Easts you'd be beating them off with a stick.

I would think a third party agreement would be for the player not the district.

My point was more about the managers/player agents squeezing the club when they could be looking elsewhere for their client to earn.

This may change with an international airport on our doorstep and more local, Australian and international companies moving into the area to support the airport. Cha-ching, cash registers will be ringing everywhere. A lot more money coming to Penrith and western Sydney may lead to potential new sponsor opportunities.

The problem with Critta is that the club prioritised a big money deal to keep Tago ahead of him. I only assume the club thought he would just re sign, but he left and went to the Dogs.
What we do know is though, Critta, Burton and Kikau have now all left for the dark side with Ciraldo. Move on, we have some great young players coming through plus we have just won the last 4 GF’s. How many did they win?

Crighton left for a reported 800k. Had Penrith offered 750k he stays. I imagine they where throwing around 700k MAX.
I also don't veleive paper talk and Tagos supposed 750k a year but I do think he would be on around 550-600k.
Would you find an extra 150-200k to have Crighton? Yes. It was a mistake letting Crighton go. I also doubt the Dogs would be so United without him.

Burton if stays means Blaize isn't there. And whilst Burton is far more advanced as a player Blaize would be on around 450k and Burton would cost 900k.

So you need to look at things differently. In 2026 Blaize will be on the same but the gap between the two I imagine won't be as big.
And then you have 450k up your sleeve. So you are better off wondering if you are better with

Burton and Montoya or
Too and Blaize

Just an example
