We need to learn from this Galvin episode and focus more on junior development rather than competing for the biggest fish right now. Hope we build our squad with smart buys where we do not have juniors coming through. Plenty of options to play 6 for us in house next year.

Does anyone think Moses and and Ryles, the people Galvin would be playing under and beside, aren’t passionate about the club and winning??
Our offer to Galvin might have been competitive. But for all we know Laundy might (probably) have given Galvin’s dad a sweetener.

The positive side of that is it won't be us.
We have Riley Smith who is far better and cheaper. (At this stage).

The difference is that there’s a chance they’ll get better because they’re still young. Sexton and Mahoney zero chance. Plus Mahoney didn’t want to be here. I’d rather invest in Smith because at least he’s shown his heart is in it.
