Agree it should be applauded all i am saying is that there comes a time tough calls need to be made for the betterment of the club its a business at the end of the day & is results driven.

Being nice all of the time isn’t going to get you anywhere at the end of the day when it comes to NRL.

Yeah exactly but people involved in recruitment are inept.

Proof is in the pudding when it was reported Flanagan flew to Townsville to entice Holmes had to get it done himself & quickly he was signed in under 3 weeks from the first reported link.

Total agreement. IMO it’s important that we remember it’s a sport first and a business second. As a lifelong supporter I’m proud of the fact that the Dragons have steadfastly supported Cody.

Nice try, but Volkman was injured while employed by the Warriors. They tried to cover it up but the duty of care was theirs, not ours. I was very disappointed to see another club try and abrogate their responsibilities, something the Dragons don't do.

How will it play dividends? He is a long way off first grade according to Flanno, players are also driven by the dollar & unless our board stops counting the church change we will not attract high end talent. We need results on field to turn the ship in recruitment & to do so we need to stop low balling players we cannot compete with some of the plodders in our side at the moment.

Volkman was already injured when he arrived. Either he or Warriors failed to disclose. Glad to see he's all good now but was never our responsibility. Should not have been forced to make a payment.

Allen did his ACL while training with us, Volkman had a pre existing injury which happened at the Warriors, its chalk and cheese..
