I think Lawson was supposed to be right side, but Allans injury and Val coming back from origin.. think hes just slotting in where hes needed.. I actually dont know if he has a preference tbh cause he gets moved around a bit in cup.. hope he has a solid game.. glad hes not coming in facing Coates or MarkN or someone.. gonna take him some time to reach his potential.

The good thing if Val plays is Lawson is pretty quick, he will be there in support.
I don’t know if he is quick, hasn’t really shown he is. Hope I’m wrong.

Well.. compared to CT, Feagai or Allan, he is speedy Gonzales! :p

But hes a small man so decent acceleration (but less hitup power), more acceleration than Finau who is far more solid...but im not sure who is faster in a longer foot race...

This Lawson selection kind of just came out of nowhere in some respects but it's a very exciting prospect. I was keen to see Tuipolotu come back because I think we've really missed his strong runs out of trouble, his work rate and finishing, but glad Nathan will get his go.

Many have said he is not ready but I am predicting Lawson will take this opportunity with both hands and will be able to retain his spot. I feel it is a good time and opposition for him debut.

Should probably wait and see but I can't help but speculate a little. For me, this puts Suli and Sloan even more under the microscope.

Much has been made of Sloan's underwhelming yo-yoing form, but in my opinion Suli has even less impacts on games. We all know he is good for the occasional poor defensive lapse, just as we know he is strong and powerful but he is not an constant threat or a dynamic player, not half as much as Holmes, and I can't remember the last time he crossed the try line. I love the idea of Suli but it is wearing a little thin as the team looks to find the necessary improvements needed. I don't feel the coach sees it this way but it needs noting.

Now that Eagan is out, Suli should go to edge forward and Lawwson of one of the centers in reserve grade fill his spot in the backline.

It would be interesting to see Suli play back row. He has the build strength and leg drive to really be effective. Even front row would be good to see, he maybe be like a Rubin Wiki.He is not used properly in the centres as he needs early ball to wind up and K Flanigan holds onto ball to long trying to ball play. The only issue for Suli playing back row is stamina.

Suli has looked even worse since Kyle moved to the right… but I think he is another one who was extended far too early. I’d love Lawson to build into right centre , suli is a dead end

Finally Lawson gets his chance. Feeling abit more positive about tonight, it's a must win as every game is but this one is big. Knights are hot and cold but it's a team we should beat if we want to be taken seriously. I want to see Kyle take control like a good 7 and start building pressure for once. I don't know if it's our gameplan or what but we don't seem to want to build pressure and our halves just lob it up hoping for the best. LKT should use his short kicking game more with the speed we have out wide surely we can get 1 or 2 trys from kicks in behind. Hope Lawson goes well it's almost a trial between him and Sloan because when CT is ready he will come straight back in. Interesting game Dragons by 10 🤞

Lets just see how he goes on his debut before dropping Suli, Sloan or whoever to fit him in. He's our 6th Winger this year - so i'l be happy if he just does his job and looks like he belongs.

Can't get a much easier team to debut against - much easier than LPT vs the Warriors pack, Egan vs the Storm, or Hamish v Dogs.

Suli seemed to have developed his passing game, but that has fallen away. It's a shame.

Sometimes I wonder if we should try doing a Brent Kite conversion of him, although Kite was a more committed individual.

We have already had 2 of our byes alot of clubs around us and below us have only had the 1 bye so far except for the Titans. Lose tonight and we are only infront of Penrith and the Titans if we count bye points. F/G helps us abit but if we can't beat the Knights what hope do we have, not an easy run home.

This game is up to the boys. They should easily beat the Knights all they have to do is perform like they have for the other wins. No excuses. If they lose this then Flanno should be looking at mass changes.
