if tino is coming to Sydney, its not going to be at the parramatta eels (unfortunately).

we could sign selwyn, a 5/8 and a couple of forwards given how many high paid players we have let go or are in the process of letting go. We need to reload for 2026, its a worry we havent signed anyone yet...

The money he’d be asking for would be too much for 3/4. Id be putting in an offer to Xeri at the dogs. They’ve got him on nothing. Good player.

Well we have to spend the $1.5-$2m we still have under the cap for next year. We won’t be spending that without at least one significant signing and 3/4 solid first graders. They’ll have to come from somewhere

I’ve honestly become obsessed in a bad way with the Dogs. They are adding that incredible young winger from StGeorge next year, Leo Thompson and Galvin to that current squad!

The squad they have under Ciraldo and Gould is completely unfair (to me) and it feels like they have so much advantage. Nothing came of the offer to Tino for shares in a pub etc.

I am honestly sick at the thought of us, WASTING another decade with total f**king plodders. We are a bottom of the rung team and despite losing shitloads we are suggesting we won’t even have top 17 signings? We’ve apparently got shitloads of cap space and our team is stuck at the bottom of the comp!

Being a Parra fan is like being born in a 3rd world country, be positive if you can but your life is a life of misery as you weren’t lucky enough to be born in a wealthy country.

seriously mate, you really need to take a deep breath and not worry yourself over it, it is what it is and I couldn’t be f**ked thinking or being envious of them…..f**k them.

the good news is, we have a really good pool of talent underneath us and need to trust our coaching and development team to nurture and prepare them properly.

I think you underrate how much merkins cost. JAC would be on $600k+ and Tuivaiti could be on $400k next year.

Merkins were loving our squad before round one, and how good they were going to go without the bush coach holding them back. Honestly the squad is fine. It’s good enough for mid table if everyone stays fit. Not everyone can finish in the top four. In fact 13 sides have to miss out each year, and that number will increase as more teams come in.

As for the Dogs, they recently spent about a decade out of the finals. They deserve some luck. We have only missed the finals two consecutive years, and that first year (2023) we only missed out by one game.
