Can Madge steer the Broncos to the finals?

I 100% agree

He missed his moment and the timing was perfect. Having just got the job.

People forget Mam and Walsh were carrying on like dickheads in Bali before the incident back in Brisbane.

Watching madges presser yesterday you would swear if you had no idea what went on Ezra Mam has been the victim in the past 6 months.

I do wonder to what extent he had any power to do that, tbh. I'm not saying he did or didn't, but these things usually require more than just the coach.

Walsh is a special kind of stupid.

His possession charge is one of the great self owns.

I'll forever be thankful for his defensive positioning though.

"Boys will be boys" he says fluttering his eye lashes to the camera with a cheeky grin.

This is hardly crime of the century
No, of course it isn't.

And if it was Connor Tracey, no one would probably look twice.

But it's glamour boy Reece, who has been mud this year, amongst a group of overpaid, overhyped prima donnas who make more impact online than on the field. And it's already been criticised this ReeceTV rubbish, where it's a focus away from his job which is to perform on the field.

It's a pretty commonly understood rule of life for footballers. If you're flying, you can pretty much do whatever you want. Example: A.Johns back in the day. But if you're not living up to the hype, your team is stinking it up and fans are gnashing teeth, then you're probably best to lay low, post little, and hope you get back up into the penthouse sooner rather than later.

I don't think many people think posting a video clubbing his mate affects his form or whatever, it just gives critics a reason to bag you.

They have a good PD, so they probably only have to win 7 of 13 games left to make the finals. Definitely achievable

They are cooked.

Something totally wrong at that place.

No resilience.

I suspect that some of the squad are not "buying in" to what Maguire is attempting to do in terms of training. When that happens, you wind up with disjointed performances. It needs the leadership group to get the recalcitrants to accept things. It has seemed that over the last few years, the Broncos players think that listening to the coach, and working hard at training, is only optional.

Madge since 2015

No finals appearances

48 games at Souths - 18 wins
80 games at Tigers - 29 wins
12 games at Brisbane - 5 wins

140 games for 52 wins at 37.14%

Anyone see that flog Andrew Webster yesterday defend him. He said:

1. NSW only won cause they followed Madge’s setup from the year before
2. Broncos aren’t buying into Madge’s style
3. Payne Hass was MOM cause he is the only Bronco buying in

He also said if NSW lost they would have returned with their legs between their tails. Classic.

Didn’t mention Madge’s excellent record as eloquently as Gutho did above.
