Reading recent stories, seems that Gould sold the idea of the Dogs team first and premiership to the Galvin camp 12months ago. The Galvins and everone else did not see Dylan moving and opening up the 5/8 spot. Looks like it was too late to change snd possibly Moses sold the idea of the Eels to muddy the water. Even may have considered that move, but Gus wasn’t to be denied and who knows what else happened.

Hence the last minute , unforeseen signing, classics manipulation and has happened with a few Gus signings. Oh well , see how it plays out ,never been a 7 even at school level from what I remember and could have played foil to Mitch, interesting watch from this point.

From what I heard it was a done deal to the Eels around Magic round. Heard from from someone close to Mitch Moses. It's just when the plan was put in motion, Gus got wind and stole Galvin from right underneath Parra.

Clubs will continue to carefully use the appropriate language, ie. Payne Haas has not spoken to anyone at the club ... while player manager is knee deep in negotiations with clubs or club's intermediaries.

Haas will stay at the Broncos, this is just his Managers way of warning Brisbane not to go too crazy with A Reynolds negotiations to go around again and leave some for Payne. This is why its happening now and not Nov 1
