They won’t give up King for someone they are going to get next season anyway they will just wait.

They would likely give up Fifita who is actually very average or potentially Sexton which I don’t see us going for as there is more need for forwards, why would we help Canterbury anyway?

We have spots available anyway without having to deal with them i am sure there are 15 other clubs we can look at to get a player or two.

Unfortunately nepotism is a big problem at the dragons. Craig and Dean. Flanno and Kyle. Hamish Stewart's dad Scott works for the club and Latu probably thought he deserved a debut before he did. Stewart has been good don't get me wrong but the Latu loss will hurt for many years long after Flanno is gone.

It ended up being a positive deal business wise for the Dragons.
Whatever remaining money on Latu's contract is now reflected under the Dog's cap, freeing up space under the Dragon's cap.
No way the Dogs would give us a player in return for a player with a chronic back injury who may not return to the field in 2025.
I personally wish Latu all the very best for his future, especially hoping he can beat this back injury going forward into 2026.

Why do you exaggerate everything? I have watched Latu he’s ok so what ! They all look good in the lower grades Sloan, Sullivan, Amone, etc etc. How are they going and there would’ve been a riot if we had ever lost one of them I’m sure. Remember when Luciano looked like a world beater as a junior and the forum was going skitso to retain him? I do. Remember saint Benny said Josh Morris wasn’t a first grader? I do. You never know how they will progress in firsts. We have done well to retain the majority of the new breed of forwards and blood them.

Talking of Dragons ending up at the Dogs. I might be alone here but I was glad to see Kurt Mann playing Origin on Wednesday and getting some recognition late in his career. He always looked like a first grader but we screwed him around and didn't know what to do with him. A common problem for us.

Great player. Wanted to keep him at the time. has gone on the bigger and better things...generally the trend when you leave the 'Dargons' but especially in his case.

He is like a JDB or Liddle type...does the hard and punishing stuff each week without complaints, impacts a game regulary, and doesn't demand a huge salary.

Congrats Kurt. Sorry you play for the cheats though!
