Only if the set restart is for offside. If it’s for a ruck infringement, the play the ball means we’ve now moved to the next play and so no penalty.

Fair enough that’s the rule but it really doesn’t make sense. You’ve slowed the play the ball which gets the defence more set and allows them up in the attacking face quicker, more likely to lead to a mistake
