Full time and we went better than expected by everyone. It's a long climb from the bottom. KFlan may not be a 7 but he's a trier, and the best we have at the moment so I'm not going to fault him. Ricky got the win but was unconvincing. Not a real contender on that effort tonight compared to the usual suspects. Roll on next week.
Kyle's kicks in general were mild most of the game, whereas the Raiders' kicks were dangerous most of the game.

Sloan was Sloan, nothing different to his usual self.
Gutherson had a bad night, would be better placed at center rather than Suli.

1. Nick T
2. Lawson
3. Gutherson
4. Holmes
5. Sloan
7. Glover
8. Toga
9. Liddle
10. Guler to
11. .Jacob H
12. Su'A to 12.
13. De Belin
14. Flanagan
15. Stewart
16. Fifita
17. Suli.
18. Cook

The Fifita 16 is a mystery

I'm planning to watch it again tomorrow but I think I saw Fifita gassed early. I'm also sure I saw him in backplay clutching his midsection just before half time, so there may be.more to it. He very easily could.be our alpha prop needed if we perseve and he wants it. It's like our team is a disjointed jigsaw puzzle. The pieces fit but but not without some force.

Dumbest team and run club in the competition besides the Tigers. Absolute shame of a club.
Why keep picking a 7 who is reserve grader at best.

Why buy all these old dopes when there's absolutely zero chance of winning a comp in the next few years.

Should have bought younger building players. Not old hacks
Holy f**k, calm down bro.

Tonga and Fifita are a couple of big props, and one day after gaining a few years experience, may well turn into the type oof prop we are looking for. Right now, we need to bring them trough (along with the Couchman boys, Stewart, and Liu).

Just saw the presser and Flanno, although controlled, was justifiably pissed at that dud call on the Suli pass to Sloane which was our first try but disallowed.... and while I'm here, what was with that ultra soft penalty Sutton awarded against Allen for nudging Savage (?) from backing into him under a bomb.... even if we won every contest on the field tonight, we were never ever going to beat the referee in the frame of mind he was in.

A far better performance from our lads then many expected , in fact with an ounce of luck they could had pulled of a win , but alas not to be .

Certainly not the lop sided scoreline that some of our forum league experts predicted , nevertheless still disappointed not to get those 2 ever so valuable competition points .

Next week will be yet another formidable test for the Dragons , however if we are able to continue to improve then once again we will be in with a chance .

A good effort tonight for mine. Sloan, Finau and Suli good for us. I thought the forwards did well to hold them and make some good space for attacks. Hard to really slam any players. 14 errors I think but spread among a lot of the players. Some critical dropped balls and a couple of crucial defensive errors and they score.
We can do some great things then fluff a relatively simple play. Blocka had one of his best games for us I thought And Klem tradesman like as always. So close and with a bit more ball control and some dodgy penalties against us we competed really well.

Sloan burnt Weeks
well done
The only speed we had
And they're likely to let him leave...the club is nuts if this happens. A guy blessed with the gift of that much speed needs to be used to maximise his talent. This coaching staff doesn't seem to know what to do to use his talent to maximum effect. It'll be a terrible sight watching him put several nails in our coffin playing at another club, and no-one in our team able to catch him.

The ref added to our fatigue
Yes we made mistakes but Sutton killed us off
new imports to the club need to know, when you pull on a Dragons jumper the days of all the indiscretions, minor contact and niggle tactics you got away with at the Storm, Cows, Souths or where ever are OVER!!

Am 100% convinced NRL Refs take pedantic to a new level when officiating Dragons games.

I agree DT. Without speed we won't win many games and once Sloan goes there aren't too many that can run like him in the team. It is imperative that once Sloan isn't with us, the recruitment staff have got to make sure that we have someone like Weekes in our team and a very speedy half with a great kicking game and terrific reader of the game. A couple of decent props too please.

When Debelin leaves our middle is going to get destroyed.
Super proud of our effort even though we severely lack quality.
Sutton can well and truly go and f**k himse

We were all expecting a flogging

Personally I enjoyed the game

We were not exposed as easy beats

Yes , there were many questionable decisions - but they are always there.

There are not many defeats that I am proud of but, considering our position versus the Raiders, we held our own!

Go the Dragons !!
Also shows that Flanno certainly hasn’t lost tthe dressing room !
