Touch wood they all come through origin unscathed.

Id rest too.. maybe dylan and nath.

Laurie/edwards only if 100% good to go.
Alamonti
Tago
Mclean
Milky
Blaize
Nath only if 100% otherwise BS
Leota
Kenny
Smith
Garner
Papali
Yeo

Jack cole (hopefully we can rest yeo and give cole 30mins at lock)
Henry
Patea
Martin (30mins max)

The next 5 games really are must wins..

If we can win 6 or 7 of the next 8 and lock in the top 8... hopefully finish 5th or 6th and lock in a home semi..

Then id be tempted to rest everyone in the last round against the dogs.

Lot of ground to cover between now and then though.

We are just slowly starting to build nicely..i just want to see gradual improvement week to week and build towards the end of the season and hopefully have everyone fit and firing come the back end

The boys who got the job done against the Warriors coming off a bye were outstanding. Obliterated the memory of our loss to the Knights in Bathurst. If needed I'm sure they will get us home against the Eels.

Personally I'd only rest To'o. Especially with Alamoti waiting for a chance. He can be To'o for a weekend or two. If we win this one then I'd strategically rest players over the next month of football. I don't like the idea of just resting them all at once with our season on the line (Every week it seems).

If Manly/Roosters win today then we are outside the 8 based on wins/losses. We have to keep winning footy games.

My gut tells me we will go 9 in a row before we face the Storm.

Hopefully by then in a position to rest players. I would want to beat to Storm, trounce the Raiders in Mudgee and then take it down a notch against the Bulldogs. Wouldn't even give a shit if we gave the Dogs a W if I'm honest.

Storm/Raiders/Dogs is a real finals tune up. If you look at the Raiders draw its a lot softer. Even with our precarious ladder position I prefer our draw. I couldn't back another coach in the competition to get us through this period without total peaking. Ivan is one of the greats with pacing. We always peak at the right time.

All academic its so far into the future. By 6pm this afternoon we will likely be out of the 8 based on wins/losses.

Its a pretty exciting home run to the season for us.

I was going to say 2022 finals series he was in perfect shape coming off the suspension.

I then realised it was three years ago.

f**k me where does time go.

Manly half a win ahead but we have a game in hand and they've got a tougher draw.

Only injuries will prevent most players backing up with the exception of To’o I think. We need all players on deck to keep winning games.
Agree but the 5 day turnaround with the next game I think he rests.
There is a 9 day turnaround between the next game after so who knows.

Only rest BrIan Too for the Eels. Then for the week after and onwards, give one of the other SOO players a week off, each week depending on who needs it most.

We are on 21 points with 3 byes already taken. There are 3 teams behind us all on 20 points and only 2 byes taken. We have to keep winning. Eels always lift against us.

You all worrying about the 8 when you should be concentrating on the 4.

This is the Warriors run home:
Bye
Tigers (H)
Knights (A)
Titans (H)
Dolphins (H)
Bulldogs (A)
Dragons (H)
Titans (A)
Eels (H)
Sea Eagles (A)

We're 3 games behind. I don't see them losing 3 games here, and I don't see us winning all our games either.

Sure, they'll be worse for not having Metcalf, but they'll find a way to win ugly in a lot of these games. Whether it's Boyd or TMM (or both) steering the ship.

everyone backs up instead of To'o - Alamoti can cover Bizza for a game or 2

These games we need to win - we've beaten Wahs & Dogs back to back - we should be going on big streak up to the Storm game and even then id fancy us to beat them

Storm Raiders Dogs - those are the 3 games we can only afford to drop - but we'd still need to win at least 1 of those - everything else we should be winning, no excuses

So much faith in other teams.

I don't have as much faith. No Barnett and no Metcalf is huge for them. They weren't a high scoring team as it was they'll maybe win 1 or 2.

Yeah the warriors could easily drop 3. They lost at home to us without origin players, thats bottom four form.

They had a HIA no return at 10mins.
Lost DWZ to injury at 38mins.
And Metcalf was lame for most of the second half.

So yeah, they started the game with the better 17, but they only finished with 14, and it took us 65mins to get on top.

I agree that you can cross out the Warriors for 2025, but they'll limp into the Top 4.

Put me down in the no faith in the Warriors without Metcalf camp too. Bog average spine without him, with the ball in particular.
