The Rl club could close tomorrow and the LC would go on its merry way earning millions.
If the LC closed tomorrow the Rl club would be dead in a short space of time.
Ergo its a LC with a RL club attached to it.
doubt it. clydesdale dont have a leagues club and they are just fine. pride dont own leagues club and are just fine. falcons dont own leagues club and are just fine. tigers own assets beyond leagues club.

ergo you dont know what ya talking about. amazes me how much of an expert you think you are on stuff you have no idea about lol.

perthwrongs, ding dong.

So no LC backing a club, been missing 17 years due to not being able to financially compete and that has won less than 10% of its games since returning? lol

Pride supported by Brothers Cairns LC
Falcons supported by Maroochy RSL
Cutters look to be the only club not relying on pokies other than Clydesdales

Easts are first and foremost a pokie den. 80% of their revenue comes from the pokies. Face the fact.

So you're putting up as youre one single poster child of no LC backing a club that has been missing 17 years due to not being able to financially compete and that has won less than 10% of its games since returning? lol
so youre ignoring the other examples to try justify that you think you know what youre talking about when ya don't?

and how do you think clydesdale came back? did they pay with gum leaves and monopoly money? also whatd their win percetange have to do with it? random stats to try make your lack of knowledge relevant?

lol, dumb ass

Interjecting here:

re: Clydesdales. They are going well. Results alone don’t paint the full picture. Admittedly, there are some financial shortfalls with their Mal Meninga, Cyril Connell and Harvey Norman U-19 and 17 pathways squads but that looks likely to be resolved soon. Their seniors both men squads are fine (financially).

The club is drawing from a massive region. They have done really well since 2023 to streamline.

Their 2006 collapse was as much to do with a mini revamping of the Q Cup, as it was the Broncos pulling their associated support away. There were other factors too ie they never really had a strong relationship with T’ba RL.

Re: Tigers. Easts have strong, cash rich assets. A lot of their financial success is interchangeable. LC and RL club. One doesn’t exist without the other, and this notion that your proposing @Perth Red where the Tigers are a LC that play RL is ridiculous and again highlights your lack of insight when it comes to Queensland Rugby League.

At some point you’ll need to realise that all the google searches you do won’t tell the full story of how things are. You kind of need to experience that yourself by being present and around I guess.

common sense truths as always.

whats your view on cutters, pride and falcons also not having leagues clubs but operating just fine?

I have no real opinion on those clubs and their lack of a LC tbh.

Pride are really well supported and have strong commercial ties into the Cairns community.

The Cutters & Falcons are perhaps 2 clubs that I’ve had the least interaction with. There’s commercial opportunities in both Mackay and Sunshine Coast; I think wherever they draw their finances from, it’s working for them.

The Cairns DRL used to have its own Leagues club that helped fund the comp and the Cyclones (as they were).

But it was in a shit location and run poorly. AFL Park (Cairns) and Brothers where far more attractive options to punters.

Id like to see some facts that back up the assertion that Easts are capable of buying the biggest RL club in the world, and are essentially the richest club in the world.

Yeah ok Mr Englishman living in Perth, tell me more about the Brisbane Tigers mean nothing to their juniors and supporters. How did the club survive without pokies pre 1990s?

Ah no they are a Rugby League club first and foremost and were long before pokies and will be long after pokies

99.99% wont happen but Easts are rich enough and could buy the Tigers name off Wests Ashfield, it’s up to Wests if they want to part with the name and recognition.
Easts/Brisbane Tigers could buy Balmain and keep the Tigers brand in the NRL
Wests Ashfield are way richer than easts tigers (they will also own the Balmain leagues club as well)

But they might see value in being magpies and ditching leichardt oval totally

Pokies are a social blight and no Id rather not have any pokies paying anything towards the Perth Bears. As is it they dont put much in so Im not going to lose much sleep over them being forced on us.
Boycott any bears juniors then lol

What do you want to ban next ? Drinking and smokes ?

Oh and kick Cummins off the Perth board then
