In some ways you could argue that’s exactly what they should do in terms of player welfare etc. Personally it’s just a game of footy, get on with it.
Let the little merkin walk the walk. He will probably tear us up in his only good game for the year.

I’m not sold on Joash being our long term 6. I reckon it will be Twidle, Hunter or Lorenzo.
In terms of being nrl ready for 2026 I think Joash is a long way ahead of those guys.
The fact he played very well on the wing and then played five eight with a great defensive game I think that will stick with Ryles and he will get first chance next year unless we sign someone from outside.
Joash would also be able to interchange with Iongi between fullback and five eight and they could both be very dangerous in attack.
Twidle in defence looked very average last week.

Agree. Joash dominates NSW cup.

I think Joash does everything Lorenzo does but a little better and is a more stronger body type and has experienced nrl.
they were both SG ball players of the year.

well Joash has had 2 and half seasons against men so that's no surprise, he's definitely more developed in the game

both have X factors about them.

Happy to touch base in 12 months to see where both are at and Lorenzo has an off season against men.
