Three others- Metcalfe presumably was from the Shire originally so he might be on the list (wanting to come home)- From SL, possibly George Williams who has been linked to the Dolphins or even Mikey Lewis.

IMO Metcalfe is a gun player , marquee not yet but I would take him ahead of Cherry Evens if we had a chance ........ Metcalfe , Atkinson in the halves could be long term ........

the unknown in all of this is Atkinson and what he will bring to the Dragons- can anyone remember him playing a full game at the Sharks as a half back?-As George Michael sang- "you've gotta have faith" but even faith has its limits.

Atkinson's signing was announced in December so negotiations probably started a few months before that, so for mine it is not a new signing it's actually very old news.

The worrying trend is what has happened since then.

I actually think the Roosters senior player recruitment in the past few years has been abysmal - Brandon Smith, Dom Young and the David Fafita debacle.
