The game thread thingy vs Dolphins… who we’ve never beaten and that won’t change tonight either… them by 20+. Fitz to say it was a good game.

Congrats on the longest thread title in living history. You done good Ozzi.

Maybe little things like this might lift our inspirational mob to victory tonight.

Moi, I am tossing up if I will waste my time watching it.

I was going to call the game day thread: The Day of the Funeral, but you got in first…

Win, lose or draw, I couldn’t really give a flying f**k at this point.

What I do want to see though is on their first 5 or so touches of the ball, Nicho and Tricky take the line on, running direct and with force, trying to bust the line.

Would also be nice if Ramien looked like he could be arsed, rather than wondering around like a poor old sod with dementia who’s gone out for a walk and forgotten where/who they are.

Nothing wrong with poor old sods who occasionally wander off or forget things.

I could take offence at that statement you bastard.

Nah, enough bogan kids on school holidays will fill the hill. Nicho fans cheering the inevitable. Actually, too absorbed in themselves to know there’s footy on.
The school holiday factor has swayed me into going. Far less traffic on the drive down through Homebush Bay and King Georges Road. All I want to see is a concerted effort and no pants staining.

Frenzy.

I'd like to see the Sharks ditch phase footy and get out there prepared to play every minute, every moment, every play and be prepared to do it for 90 minutes. No breathers, no drop offs. If they can't do this by round 19 they are not fit enough for the NRL and are just competition ladder placeholders.

If not, wear this well

Just show us something, anything that shows there is still a pulse in this team.

We have all seen shit Sharks teams with no talent but a bit of heart, we have seen grinding teams that drag opposition teams to their level, we have seen teams with a bit of flair but there has always been connection between supporters to the team.

What is fascinating at the moment is how quickly this forum has turned into disinterested, detached onlookers. There is something not right in this squad - lack of desire, effort, smarts, care etc that is being discerned but no visible action from those in charge.

I am hopeful but not expecting they will turn up and show anything like the intensity needed to do anything in this comp.

There is something weirdly Cronulla about building a squad over years, landing the marquee forward, having the comp wide open and then mysteriously dying in the arse with victory within reach.

I'm excited to see if Nichos hair has grown longer since I saw him jogging across- field 2 weeks ago.
Or has he had a little bit taken off the length.
I hope it's still long enough to tuck behind his
ear with that serious look of WTF am I doing here.

Other than that take it or leave it with this game.
The only other interest is watching the dolphins 7 play. He is the real deal.
