It just goes to show you that it’s all about mindset. New South Wales had a far better team on paper in my opinion. They are all way more than capable players. However Queensland just out enthused them with line speed and commitment and actually choke them out of the game.

It never ceases to amaze me that NSW with their regularly superior squad talent are simply out-enthused by Qld.

The only time we seem to be able to overcome this issue is when we have seriously motivational coach like Madge.

I knew it was all over at half time with the shot of the Blues dressing room showed Daley slouching backward in his chair while addressing the team.

This image in contrast to Madge perched on the edge of chair, leaning forward virtually frothing at the mouth while delivering the kind of half time speech every Blues fan would expect of a highly paid rep coach in a decider to deliver to motivate his team to a come from behind series victory.

Daley as coach, should never have been given the role again and should be replaced imo...

That's right, playing with more intensity then the opposition.
Run hard, tackle hard and the rest, goes a long way.
If we talk regular season, any team on their day can upset a top side.
The lower sides are just inconsistent you never know if they will turn up or not.

Absolute champion. Busts his arse week in week out and I love seeing him run out for the red V each week. He can lead the young pack of forwards coming through over the next 3 or 4 years
