LOL Siraj

defends Bashir easily then watches the ball spin onto the stumps

England win by 22 runs

I just watched the Highlights package of the day.

I've found myself going for India this series because I'm sick of the Bazball wankfest but that's hillarious to happen to such an unlikeable human in Siraj.

Just had no urgency, probably thought ball was going to miss the stumps, or going to slow to get near the stumps....but gee in that situation, you got to be sharp, not just facing the delivery.
But yeah , if it had to happen to an indian player, its Siraj lol

It's even funnier cos The Earl of Rajkot was very close to getting them home. One bad over from England would have almost done it. So Siraj pretty genuinely lost them the game, the shit merkin

Hasn't missed McCullum
As an NZer I'd believe this. The crop in the 00s were fairly well known for being arrogant and thinking that just making the team was enough, and once you made it that spot was yours.

Took a big attitude reset from Hesson and others in the 2010s to get things back on track. And McCullum got on board at that point as well to be fair.
