In Englands first innings when the were putting on a big partnership and got to 300 (India having gotten 600) the barmy army started singing Bon Jovi “Wooh were halfway there, Wooh livin on a prayer”. 🤣
Brilliant work by the barmy army. How good would it be to have something similar in RL.

Let me introduce you to The Bharat Army 😁

Thank you Akash Deep

What would you rather do

Try and tackle Junior Paulo or face Mitch Starc hooping it around under lights at 150km/h

Probably Barlow

It's like that saying death taxes and Starc getting a wicket in his first spell..

Already had 1 in his second over..

Interesting in the cricket coverage this morning some west indian official was getting interviewed by a W.I commentator and talking about how they are trying to reignite cricket by targeting high school cricket because for various reasons (like alumni school pride) their research has shown that is the way to go instead of targeting club level.
This is the way.

Starc has really gone from strength to strength since Warnie wrote him off years ago.
They went in different directions didn't they.

Here is a question would Starc/Hazelwood/Cummins been even better with the 2000-2007 batting side we had?

Langer
Hayden
Pointing
Martyn
Clarke
Waugh
Gilly
Warne
Starc
Cummins
Hazelwood

The courage and Career of Mitchell starc shouldn't be under estimated.

He knocked back the IPL numerous times to get fit for Australia and prioritise the Baggy Green over the $$$

Lost his dad a few years back due to cancer.

And he kept turning up.

IMO no way

Konstas is far from ready, mind boggling a kid basically played FA first class cricket and people want him to open in test cricket. This ton he scored tonight isnt a sanctioned international, lot of lax rules, India missing Bumrah, zero pressure.

What should have happened , Smith should have stayed at opener and McSweeney at 4, where he has played most of his career. Inglis is part of the test squad, and could play as a batsman in the middle order
Nostradamus here

George Bailey should have listened.
