Just seen the draw. Is the NRL being nice to the Warriors? From what I can see, we play Penriff, Storm and Easts only once each. How does that happen?

When I first saw the draw back in Nov last year, I thought it looked ridiculously favourable to the Warriors. We are now 8 games from the end of the regular season. We are sitting 4 points clear of the 5th place challenger, (Penriff are coming I know).

But look who we have left to play. Newcastle, Titans x 2, Para, Manly, dolphins and the bulldogs. I would think there are a couple of banana skin games and we really need the bulldogs game to test the team, but could there be a better draw?

I'm the most flakey supporter in the history of sport. But Im starting to feel confident of a top 4 finish....

We well know as Warriors fans that we don't care look forward past the next week. We lost to Penrith B at home a few weeks ago, one I know I had tagged as a win in my head.

But you have three wooden spoon contenders in the Knights, Titans and Eels, Manly who aren't going to make the 8, then the Phins and Dogs who will give us an accurate idea of where we're at whilst being beatable. It's a good run-in, and that's all I'll say.

The draw is definitely favourable but gees we’ve been on a rollercoaster the last few weeks - lost Barnett, belted the Sharks, lost to Penrith B, lost to Brisbane (and lost Metcalf), bounce back v Tigers.... if that continues who knows where we’ll end up.

I wouldnt be to upset slipping to 5th or even 6th though tbh, given we'd get a home game in week 1.

I wouldn't underestimate Penrith B, you don't win four titles in a row unless you have a really solid system and plan.
We were sloppy and they profited from a broken DWZ and Metcalf, but they were absolutely switched on.

We've been garbage twice this year, AAMI and Vegas.

We have a great run in, to the point where I'm actually nervous it's a bit /too/ soft.
Saints, Tits, Eels and Eagles is not exactly finals prep for (hypothetically) Raiders week 1 and Penrith week 2.
