2025 Crowd Watch

Warriors both home and away and storm at home will also contribute heavily.
Roosters could have two 35k+ crowds as well.

Dogs looks a certainty. Souths would need to find form but if we are confirmed for finals or still a chance to make it 20k should be no problem.

Broncos 40k+ season average is well within reach now.

Our next two home games against Parra and Souths are on track for 40k+. After that our home game against Redcliffe is basically sold out - maybe 300 held back for new members, otherwise a few single seats left, and our last round against Melbourne (a Thursday) is on track for 38k-40k.

Average of 38,062 for the last 4 games gets the season average to exactly 40,000. Would be weird if it fell short of that, given the low crowd ytd is 38,016.

People saying the Sharks don't pay rent is obviously correct compared to clubs that rent publicly owned stadiums. But you have to balance it out with the cost of the up keep and any land taxes paid (if applicable) by the Sharks.
Maybe instead of saving stadium rent...they knock it down, put up apartments, rent them out and use the money to pay rent... at ..say an actual stadium?

Our games against Parramatta and Melbourne are the most important. Parramatta is slightly overpriced for the current demand but I think the ticketing people will address that soon. The Souths game is overpriced too, but it has the Bennett & Reyno factors. If we can get 42k for these two we are home.

If we collapse the Melbourne crowd might be the lowest of the season, otherwise should come close to selling out.

Back when I was in high school some mates and I would circle the three games a year that we thought would draw more than 35k and hop on a 3hour bus each way to attend. Usually the Cowboys, Melbourne, and one of the Titans, Dragons or Canterbury. Cannot believe that we might go 2 seasons in a row with every crowd being over 34k. My childhood dream really.

We haven't had a crowd under 30k since rounds 3 & 5 2023, and both mornings were trash weather from memory.

I think our membership team will push for a slightly cheaper full season ticketed membership pass and look to sell 40k full season memberships. FOMO is becoming a thing with Broncos games and upselling flexi members to full season and one game passes to flexi will be pretty easy.

Yeah, we have the probable range for Melbourne on the final Thursday - 2023's 43k (good Broncos) to 2024's 35k (bad Broncos).

Also 2x under 30k at the Gabba in 2023, for completists.

That's true - I just don't count those Gabba crowds given that we were homeless. We were robbed of 45k vs Phins and 35k-40k vs Roosters that year.

Dogs V Dragons they've opened up level 4.

Still a fair few seats available in Level 1/2 in those middle sections on the West.

Hopefully this game gets 30,000 + would be great to see some red and white in the stands also in decent numbers!
If we were performing better and within the top 8 I’d be thinking this game could have been 40k plus for sure. Now I’m thinking 30-34k would be a good result.

Still hoping it can get a huge crowd being a good rivalry and big fan bases.

100% this.

it’s becoming pretty obvious with every passing day that shark park just isn’t a viable option and has no future as a NRL stadium/venue.

similar to the north Sydney oval.

There's less than 50 allocated seating tickets remaining for Canterbury vs St George Illawarra on Saturday. Some slow and steady progress on level 4 west as well.

Overall, I think this one will land between the Canterbury crowds vs Roosters (30,116) and the Broncos (25,234) at this stage.
