Wouldn’t mind it tbh, he have him covered and can use the 1.2-4 he is on to reboot the team quicker, absolutely class player, but injuries and some lack of desire, combined with how badly we managed to construct a Roster around him.
Plus he is moving to Rugby, so don’t have to watch him tear us apart on a yearly basis from there on as well.

The hits keep on coming….

Apparently Dylan Brown had the chance to come here this season but chose to stay at Parra instead even though he was told he might be playing NSW Cup…

Who’d be a Knights fan seriously..

I think it’s commendable that he wanted to honour contract to be honest, same as KPP wanting to stay here to see his out when he had the option to leave.

Us, Eels, Tigers are all in the same position that we’re not going to win anything this season. Makes more sense for the players to honour their contracts, have Mad Monday with their teammates, etc.

Brown wouldn’t have improved us significantly with the injuries we had and because of that he would have been on a hiding to nothing with the media due to his salary next year. Made sense to finish the season (which is only a few games) with the Eels. He’s been there a long time. He shouldn’t rush leaving imo.

Just because the media call it a “hit” because we’re their flavour of the week doesn’t mean it actually is one. This is a complete non issue in comparison to everything.

Jeezus this is a stretch

A. What would we have had to pay him with? Our cap is pretty tight for 2025

B. What roster spot was he going to take up? We had to let Bryan go to squeeze Arthur in as it was

Realistically the fabled Galvin>>Brown>>KPP swap needed to take place for it to work and we all know 1/3 of that equation hasnt happened

News/Fox are trying to stretch every little thing for everything they can.

Dylan not coming this year isn’t anything. Alex McKinnon sitting on the hill instead of the Old Boys suite isn’t a thing.

4 weeks ago we were on track to be full strength by rnd 19, minus Adam Elliott. So in a vacuum it could have been a good move to try some things and work on combinations. In the last 3 weeks we've lost arguably 3 of our top 4 players for the season so in hindsight it would have been a disaster.

And I agree, with the amount of media attention he has gotten, he would have been fighting an uphill battle, not to mention coping with the change on and off the field. It doesnt make sense given the position the club was in.

So it was probably in the best interest of both parties that he just stay at Parra. At least now if he isnt picked in firsts, it lowers risk of injury too - touch wood. If he is 18th man every week, even better. Dont think his confidence can take any more of a beating than it has this year.

But I think everyone knows both he and the knights are going to need to hit the ground running next year to keep the wolves at bay.

That was some A-grade dribble on 360. Apparently hosting a spinal injury charity on game day is in bad taste because we were playing Melbourne? It happened 11 years ago. And even Alex's comments yesterday suggest he has moved on from it and wasn't personally offended but they still got on their high horse last night.

Does that mean the Broncos can't hold indigenous round against the Roosters because Spencer called Ezra names?
