He will need to put on some weight to play there. He's comparable in height to the likes of Cotter, C Heese, McInnes and Walker but gives up about 10-15kg on them. But he's a tenacious little f**ker and that seems to count for a lot.
Is he bigger than Ray Stone?

He already defends in the middle, just gotta see how good his middle half ball playing will be.

Or when we attack, we have 2 roving hookers who switches around every ruck. So whoever is nearer the ball, he takes the hooker position and the other plays middle half. Almost like split hookers but they roam

I actually think 40 mins each to Riley and TDS isn't that good.
I am guessing Ryles will go hooker 1 and if hooker 1 is killing it and not fatigue, then leave him on.
If hooker 2 does come on and is killing it, hooker 1 doesnt come back on.

Your only wrong 15% of the time.

How are the power rankings going btw - Penrith have jumped the ladder by 8 positions since you were scolded by some for putting them at 4th.

They haven't lost since
It’s the Power Rankings not the Prediction Rankings. It’s also not genius to suggest that a team that’s won the last 4 grand finals might not stay near the bottom ladder.

I would say that Joash is the current plan unless someone else falls into our lap.. If he wasn't then we would not be playing him now at 5/8 and trying to fit Brown in somewhere else..

There isn't many options available for 25 or 26 either.
My take is (assuming no new 6 or 7) that the options are either

6. Joash
7. Moses

or

6. Moses
7. Hawkins

and the rest of the season is to see which of Hawkins/Joash can step up

I don't think the 2nd one works

Moses is a better 7 than Hawkins so why would Hawkins do the majority of the 7 work

I recon if it was Hawkins it is split halves

Cleary's stats are poor as well.
He makes a lot of runs and gets a lot of metres. That’s what he does best. Not a lot of playmaking skill but he knows when the pass isn’t on and he’s good at tucking the ball under his arm and having a run. He’s about 95kg. I think the only reason he plays halfback is because he can kick.

MITS

You’ve been around. Is he better at the same age as Tim Smith or Blake Green who were great as juniors and both ‘made it’ or is he more like a Kris Keating, Steve Witt or Michael Witt type?
PS How good a bloke is MITS?! I never have time to watch the Cup side etc and really appyoue game day threads etc.
People like you is what still makes this place good!

If Moses could string some games together we wouldn't really need a quality 6 , Douhei for a season would be as good as anyone on the market , waiting for one of our juniors to come through is unlikely to happen anytime soon
I don’t know what it is about Douhei but I just don’t want him at the Eels. He is a good player I think in his day and could improve us, but he gives me f**kwit journeyman vibes that lives in the narcissism clique now at the Tigers.
I just don’t want him at the Eels for some reason.
