Alongside Peters.. according to my personal assistant tic toc players feel part of the inner circle or disregarded that’s not good.. & Benji likes too much being one of the boys.eg the AD incident . it may be crap but if it’s true he’s fked.. that type of coach can’t handle another head coach or supervisory coach around.. and Benji is dead against Peters hanging around ..Richo May just overrule and chuck in Peter’s depending how bad it is or gets.. Benji needs to get some wins if he wants it his way.. I don’t know the guy.. Hes another softy sensitive Pisces like Benji as if there wernt enough already ..it may work

Benji needs to get some wins

We need to start winning games. We can't continue to have dud seasons with hope for next year. I also think we can't keep sacking or replacing coaches because it doesn't work.

It's also more complex. I think Cleary is a really good coach but he screwed our team over for a long time with terrible recruitment and retention. It wasn't all his fault but he made himself look better over the short term and made our club worse over the longer term.

I think Madge left the club in a good position but he was working with a pile of dog shit.

These two are good depth players but we need marquee players.

Those two players are great for depth but I'm a little concerned with the marquee players.

I mean we have Luai and Api. We have Latu and Bula as class players.

Can we afford another marquee player ? I can't see how we can easily go to market and get one. I was reading rumors about some other comp offering RTS 1 million a season. We have new teams coming into the comp as well.

If the other May comes good I think we lose some outside backs. I think our forwards are pretty close to being done with KPP coming next season.

Maybe those signings allow us to get a gun forward.

Enough if we get another gun player we really need Api and Luai to play considerably better and Latu and Bula to turn into top tier players. What is worse is that I have more confidence in Latu and Bula at this point in time.

Yep, marquee players don't grow on trees.
Maybe we need as much cash in the bank leading up to Nov 1 to cover all bases, including securing our best players.
I think we have to reward players like Staines. At least with him it's what you see is what you get.

He is consistent and that includes effort. I don't know if he makes the top team next year and I reckon we'll lose some outside backs.

Faataape has been good for us in first grade and he is struggling to make the state cup team. We have some depth in the outside backs.

I’ve lost the like button again.
But I think considering our current record, we are lucky to get who we have got & getting already.
A lot of this is contributed to Benji as well.
I believe we still have a good squad and Benji is still learning the coaching trade, we have already surpassed the last few years results and i’m confident, if we keep this team together and get some more depth, we will be a competitive outfit over the next few years.

I'd love and hate to manage the WT salary cap. It's something that fascinates me.
