Hunt must go down as our biggest disappointment this year. Our middle is vulnerable.

A pathetic lemon who as is std for this imbecilic club will cost us to move him on as hes signed till end of ‘27.The next most useless recent recruit Bird would struggle & get bashed in NRLW.To think that our best recruit by a country mile T May was an absolute fluke appointment.

We only have a winning record against the Cowboys and Sharks (and only just) and currently 50% against the dolphins. Haven't even cracked 10 wins against the Broncos.

Further to this. Titans have won 63% of games against us. We are the only team they have won more than 50%. Depressing stuff.

I reckon this is the worst season we've had in years and that is stating something. I don't think we've had a squad this good that has under performed this much.

I'd love to see the team get into some form and play good footy for 5 our of those games but they've shown no ability to do that.

2012 was a letdown. Pre-comp favourites and missed the 8. And the introduction of Adam Bleh

I'd love to see the team get into some form and play good footy for 5 our of those games but they've shown no ability to do that.

We've had a lot of bad seasons but this one still gets me. Those seasons mentioned above are bad but I view this as worse because we've been crap for so long and we somehow have a good squad.

We really have to turn it around soon because it sucks dogs balls.

‘06 don’t qualify for finals after winning comp

06 was cursed. Liam Fulton season ending injury in the first tackle. Benji, Farah, Hodgo, Gibbs, Whatiura, Halatau all missed large chunks of the year with injury. When fit we beat 3 of the top 4 and both grand finalists

Onto this game who knows. Titans have big forwards and fast backs. Last year they seemed to make a line break every set but couldnt finish them off and we somehow won.

Im hoping last week was just one of those games as we'd been pretty good before that. I'll tip us back at Leichhardt but zero confidence. A good start is very important.

If we win this game we avoid the spoon imo. Would put us 3 games clear of Tits, 2 of Eels and a game ahead of teams like Souffs, Saints and Knights who all seem injurt riddled in free fall.

Agree, the fact that’s it at LO, should be enough to get over the line.
I’m still amazed we don’t play more games there.

I still reckon we’re lacking in the halves, and centres, back row and a good prop. I think we can stick with the halves we have though, we have two good centres coming through, and the backrowers should mature into decent players. I whinge all the time about our performances, but there’s a few in the side that are going pretty good for where they are in their careers. The boys need experience, mature bodies and to develop composure and the ability to adhere to and execute a game plan. While there are times we do struggle to get the ball in to the attacking zone, it’s pretty rare. The problem is maintaining our structure and executing plays when we are there. There are plenty times when nothing is happening and we just have to take the tackle and move to the next play instead of jumping around and throwing the ball to blokes standing still it kills our attack week in and week out. The biggest problem is that the bloke who is probably the best footballer in the team is the fella that is most guilty of it, it’s not a lack of trying it’s a lack of vision and composure. Benji needs to recognise this and get the boys on script, it doesn’t mean shutting down creativity it means getting some flow in the footy to let better creative opportunities develop. We don’t have to score off every play, we have to build the opportunities with each play

Yep this has been a shit sandwich of a season. From the Easter Monday game onwards my hope diminished slightly and any hope I once had has now well and truly gone

my only joy now is seeing Latu progress and hopefully Taylan May makes a name for himself in the centres

I suppose if we can finish the season with 4-5 wins I’d be feeling a little more enthused but it’s definitely another fail in my books

3/4 years ago Maps was the ‘next big thing’ for junior outside backs. I remember he had some hype when he debuted for newie at 19. Had a lot of injuries which stalled him. Can play anywhere from 1-7 but mainly a been a centre, interested to see if can crack first grade this year
