Sandon Smith
Possibly Savala on loan
Jonah Pezet
Adam Doueihi
Jake Averillo

All are available.

Ryles doesn’t have time to f**k around next season or he will go by the way of Kearney and rightly so.
Sandon Smith is not it

Savala unavailable

Pezet only available if Hughes re-signs

AD Good stopgap option

Averillo has a year left on his deal but apparently he’s home sick (Best option imo)

Who is playing 5/8 for the Roosters next year?

I would be knocking on Mitch Woods managers door to see if he wants a gig..

Jack Gibson said success starts in the front office, not sure how to assess our lot. Been close to inactive for years, lack of talent identification and not sure of ability to sell the club.
If they aren’t targeting those names or similar in consultation with the coach, what is their job description and KPIs.

Kuatoga is a good second rower for mine will play plenty of first grade

He has a good offload and is big. Has slow leg speed but so dont see him busting the line. I reckon his ceiling is an average nrl player.

This was what Balize Talagi was chalking up for us last year - and look at him now in the past month at Panthers.

It's worth persisting with Joash into next season imo, also given that there are absolutely no alternatives out there.

Not in the same class. Blaize could be anything. Joash might become an average 5/8.

We are a better side in 2026 based soley on

Ionghi
Silva
Tuivati

They'll go up a level. And all 3 at this stage have potential to be top shelf.

Morretti helps a little and had an injury hampered season.

Add Moses who's our best player is going to be massive.

Throw in De bellin and the middle is looking OK.

I'd love to add a 5/8 a strike centre and a gun back rower.
From what I gather we have a good 5/8 and 2nd rower in Flegg. And 2 or 3 promising middles. But who knows if they will step up.
The problem is that Moses is not likely to play for more than half the season based on recent form.

Surely we are looking at a few of them

It's disappointing losing like that in the second half. I was pleased with their effort till the last period of the second half. Things like giving the ball away so easily in crucial periods is something they need to fix. And Canberra are dangerous around the ruck but gee we looked so lazy at marker, no urgency in defence.
