You watching the game mate or?I don't often agree possm but this post has nailed the priority issues that need to be addressed. Forget about sponsors and partners if we don't improve quality of players and coaches.

Yeah you're not too fussed with results, I know that.Always, it only takes a day or so to get over the dissapointment
What's the go with Squadron Energy? I remember a big fanfare rolled out when they were announced as our new major sponsor. Heard very little since. Are they putting anything extra in apart from naming rights? Doesn't feel that they are doing as much as Landry at the Bulldogs. Or are we just a tax deduction for them? You’re welcome, lol.
The new CEO might want to knock off a few heads to make his initial impact, but in my experience, your sponsorship department is in good hands.
Richo’s first act in command on arrival at WT was to summarily sack the poor gear steward so we all knew he was boss. Instead it was met with much laughter and derision.
I digress:
You have to educate your CEO early, make sure he doesn’t form the belief that he actually runs or controls anything.
Send him the oust dust signage and a photo of BJ on a wild outback donkey or whatever he’s doing these days.
And someone has to ram it home to him that theres no peace with the NRL until Saints stolen premierships are returned.
If he’s fully vlandified he won’t last.
He’ll be weeded out like those that came before him. It’s an ancestral matter, call it fate if you want.
Third party deals, jobs for family members, company shares for mums and dads, braces for the kid sister, etc....just the usual stuff to sweeten the pot to attract and retain good signings like other clubs seem to do. Nick-style sombrero would be good start. Our NRLW squad definitely need help to be more financially capable. How about company "promotional positions" with all the time off they need to pursue their footy? And we're still just licking the tip of the iceberg here. It's a simple shirt sponsorship deal for which they pay the club $1.2M per season. What extras were you hoping for?

I think you mean dream-catcher.Brown paper bags blowing in the wind.
Yeah Twiggy Forrest is not a St George Illawarra supporter. This is purely a commercial business transaction for him, as his company tries to gain traction in Sydney and the Illawarra. As the main shirt sponsor he's not allowed to provide third party deals so not sure why he would risk penalties and breaches for doing so when he's not even a supporter.Third party deals, jobs for family members, company shares for mums and dads, braces for the kid sister, etc....just the usual stuff to sweeten the pot to attract and retain good signings like other clubs seem to do. Ok…hear me out…there are heaps of rich chinese businessmen out there. The Chinese love dragons. It’s their national symbol. They are also very superstitious. So if we can convince a chinese businessman to offload a few million into the “dragons” club for good luck and prosperity, it’s a win/ win for both parties. Anyone on here have any connections?Yeah Twiggy Forrest is not a St George Illawarra supporter. The main difference with some of the dodgy deals going on at other clubs is that they are being done by people who are clearly lifelong fans of the football teams and happy to use their wealth to benefit the clubs even if it puts them and the club at risk.
The best option for us would be to find a wealthy lifelong dragons fan who is not currently a sponsor, and get them to use their money for third party deals, which would be completely above board. I'm hoping the new CEO has recognised this a huge opportunity for us. Definitely better than asking a current sponsor with no love for the club or long term affiliation to break the rules.

I don't believe there is a limit however the NRL reviews all TPA's to make sure they are genuine commercial deals, so it's a tricky business to get right (as the clubs are not supposed to be involved). I agree this looks like one of the main reasons Anderson may have been brought to the club as the Roosters have been strong in this area for some time.Getting the picture. See why recruiting Daniel Anderson from the Sombrero factory was one of Tim's first orders of business. I imagine the big picture for Tim is to drive up crowd numbers like the Bullbogs have, therefore driving up the value of sponsorship deals. Is there any cap on individual player sponsorships? Can a business sponsor more than one player?
What we need is for Langcaster to acknowledge that WIN Copr is in for the wrong reasons (Tax dodge). I imagine he has the casting vote and should use it to convince WIN to sell their shares to a more appropriate entity.Lancaster another 3 years. I think this is good news. We need stability at the top and this provides it. Whilst it could raise anti WIN sediments ( I’m not a fan of them myself) he is by far the most accomplished professional in both Owners.
