I thought the penalty for the field goal was a joke.. grant milked it for absolutely all it was worth.. deadset oscar worthy milking.

Credit where credit is due that was ballsy by grant .Thats why he is the best in the game .Remember it was his dive that deleted the feild goal..I doubt any other dummy half takes that option with the game on the line

Tailagi's pass as well. Just some bad errors that gifted them field position and points.

As unfortunate as it is Blaize needs to throw that pass tonight and learn the hard way that those types of passes lose you the big games. Better he learns that tonight than in a prelim or GF. I'm sure Ivan will be having a word to him.

I think game changed on these two moments when it was 12-4.
Firstly Martin's drop when Nathan went blind side. Storm where shot.
Then obviously Blaizes intercept. A good pass and Panther may of scored or atleast choked them down their end.

After that it was a game of inches. They just nailed a 40/20 and use didn't.
Both Coates try's where so close to not being try's but to be fair same goes for Penriths.
Too early looked certain to score and dropped it. I just dont think he looks right to me. He used to make busts. Now it seems rare.

As far as field goals go it was a fair play. Leota only turned to see the ball. Barely moved. And the 2nd one the markers arents square and they are offside on the chase. Should of been a penalty infront.

Think we massively underutilise our long kicking game though, especially late in the game. No reason for Edwards to take a predictable 5th tackle hit up into their forwards in that weather when Cleary could’ve parked them in a corner, or attempted a 40/20, a tackle earlier.

Nah I think he's a tier worse than he's been since 2020. In both sides of the ball but its more noticeable in defense.

We don't really have a long kicking game. Nathan's kicking distance/hight is way down and has been all year
