Interesting some of country recruits who played flegg this year have already left. Will Shears/ Jaylen Taewa (Titans) and Kurt Fisher (Manly).

Interestingly, there were only three under-19s (Murgha, Bowden and Clarke) in Melbourne's competition leading Flegg team last week. We had seven of them:

Leigh
Rokosuka (18)
Talagi (18)
Petrus (18)
Beattie
Popo
Coinakis

Plus Talataina and Funa-Iuta in reserve grade.

The second placed Panthers also only had three 19 year olds in last week's team; Patea, Lemoto and Attard. However they have Casey McLean in first grade, supporting the idea that the best outside backs should be playing NRL by 19. Lomax, Penisini and even Sean Russell all did.

These officials in the Flegg game are ready to step up to the NRL .

Call knock backs knock on legit backward passes forward passes..

Keeping the home team in the game with penalties..

I can’t post a screenshot, but he is not fit to play

he’s not meant to be playing it’s just we have nobody else to choose
Wow. Hes been with us for a while. Obviously hasn't taken his training too seriously. Could be his last chance. Pity. He's a huge talent when fit.

So officially, we only have two merkins on development list contracts next year (JFI and Latu). Who do we all think the other four will be? I’m guessing these are the contenders:

Pryke (currently on the list but off contract)
Twidle
Nanva
Talataina
Petrus
Talagi
Lokeni

Twidle and Nanva seem the obvious additions.

Pryke if extended, and one more... probably Talataina to help try and wrap him up?

I like Nanva and hope he makes it but unsure if he or Twiddle or Pryke are NRL level.
Pryke is a 50 tackles 100mtr a game prop but not very dominant.
Id guess the bottom 4 on nlist are most promising.

Miller-Phteven is another one currently on the dev list but uncontracted for next year. He might also be a candidate for another dev contract, but with multiple knee injuries, the risk:reward ratio could be too high. I’ll tell you one thing though, whatever decision the club makes on him, it’ll be the wrong one.

So it is PB Blacktown v Hunter Sports High in the NSW final of the PMC. I've got PBB winning easily but a big loss in the National final as per usual.
