OT: Association Football

1 x EPL game is being shown on channel 9 this weekend after the Souths v Parra game.

I think the plan is for only for a limited amount of games though on 9 with the rest on Stan Sport.

But it wouldn't surprise me if the ratings are so good this week when its on the channel 9 they might decide as the season wears on to show that first 9:30/10:30pm every Saturday night more regularly.

Lets be honest it will be a ratings bonanza and they may not realise what a hidden gem it actually is.

The problem with that is that when we go to Summer time and the Poms come off it, there is an 11 hour time difference, so the games will be nearer midnight.

Heading into the City to watch the Fulham game tonight with a few friends against Chelsea.

Not that I am expecting a result

But Its Live on channel 9 I just hope we dont get embarrassed on a rare FTA game in Australia with a few more eyeballs watching it.

Effort was there and we controlled the game for long periods.

But you need a fair bit of luck to beat the big boys.

Just didn't have any.

Less said about VAR the better.

They do make the Bunker in the NRL look competent at times.
