There's no need to be a smartarse about it, just look at his individual stats. He is a good kicker and defender but has no running game. In other words, a backup.

He’s not a good kicker. He can kick. That’s it.

Guys who make it there are the ones who are good enough to play NRL in attack but defense isn't up to it. Usually due to being to small.
Albert Kelly/Bevan etc.

I'd be suprised if he get 10yrs there. I wouldn't be suprised if he is in NSW CUP in 2yrs.
They might be forgiving of poor defenders, but I’m sure they still appreciate good ones. I mean, have you watched the ESL lately? There’s some absolute plodders over there. They’re not all Bevan French clones.

Dylan Brown was rubbish this year but he had

17 TA's in 2022
16 TAs in 23
18 TAs in 24

Worth 1.3 mill? No way and glad he is gone But he is a huge upgrade on Jack Cogger and JA. He will improve them. And he is 25. Not sure id completely write him off as a dudd. He was a big reason NZ won the world cup a few years ago. A change might be just what he needs.
Holbrook will be good for him I reckon.

Arthur was on par with Hawkins and outperformed the other two in first grade this year. Papalii at least has youth on his side, being two years younger.
I will preface i dont think Arthur is that shit and is a serviceable back up and hes only 22 so a long way to go. Going off this years stats hes defs not on par with hawkins. Hawks 12 games - 9TA, 3LBA and 2 tries. Jake 6 games 1TA and 1LBA (no tries). Jake has 86% tackle efficiency and dean has 85

Gee wouldn't this make you just hate your team.

Rugby league's most masochistic fan can finally put his feet up after enduring the season from hell.

Dan Nilsson, aged 29, is a Newcastle firefighter and Knights tragic who decided at the start of the year to support the team in his own bizarre way.

Nilsson vowed to run a kilometre for every point the Knights lost by throughout each week of the season - little realising the trouble he was putting himself in.

"I thought we would have a half decent year and I'd have plenty of weeks when I didn't have to run when we had a win," Nilsson told Wide World of Sports.

"This last week is going to be especially tough - the Eels beat us 66-10 so between now and the weekend I have to churn out 56 kilometres.

"After that I'll take a bit of a break - like the players, I am exhausted after a long year."On the positive side, I'm the fittest I've been since I played footy a few years back.

"And I run a sports comedy page on Instagram so we get plenty of laughs out of it.

"I also raised a bit of money for charity along the way so I feel good about that.

"But as a Knights fan, I feel really sad - it's probably our worst season ever and I'm not sure I can go through all this again next year."
