I really don't get the paranoia about agents. If players want to come and we offer enough money, they will come. The agent is only there to negotiate the money, to try and get the best price for their player. Anasta is a bit of a d.ckhead but if agents start having grudges against certain clubs then they become unsuccessful very fast.

Isaac Moses, ask the Wests Tigers about him, a player will listen to his agent, agents do alot more than negotiate a club contract, they look after players finances, recommend property/shares and all sorts of investments, they confide in them in all different ways, 100% if Anasta says to Pezet, Dragons are not a good fit for you, he wont go, especially if he has similar offers from other clubs.

Is there another club where Pezet could be the starting 6 or 7 would be the only question.. most clubs have got their appointments now.. Newcastle was the prime location but with Sandon Smith there now..

I do think there is a world the Storm could play Hughes+Pezet as halves partners sooner rather than later.. Munster to fullback for a year perhaps.. dunno.. does feel like Papz and Munster are potentially coming to the end of their run down south.

This really says a lot to me.

The number 1 NRL show on fox is hosted by a guy who overtly hates the Dragons due to his own personal business moves. This is why he shouldnt be in both roles.

Ilias has never been anywhere as good as his reputation. Despite how little opportunity Flanagan gave Ilias, Anasta is stuck with a dud. So are we. We are stuck with other duds too.

The upshot is Anasta will continue to make millions from Fox and agency, Ilias will continue to be paid by the Dragons (SFs fault), Dragons will continue to play Kyle at 7 and the NRL will see no foul in this utter conflict of interest which will continue to oppress out football club.

Anderson needs to quickly get his act together.

Totally agree. I dont listen to or watch any show with Anasta involved, use to watch 360 dont anymore, simply my decision. Again my opinion but he was an over rated footballer & a very ordinary commentator.

He was the Temu version of Brad Fittler who later became a journeyman when he, like Ilias, was figured out. Has far too much say for such a medicore player.

So who will partner Atkinson next year.

LKT is a good 'un that has missed a few tackles late in the season due to playing with injury. Until the injury, his defence was very solid.

Reed will be our long-term 7.
Glovere is better than LKT and Flanagan but has been signed by Souths.
I'd bet that the coach will select his son until Reed is ready for first-grade.

If I was coach, I'd select Reed at 7 and Flanagan at 14.

If Ransey is medically cleared to play first-grade, I'd select him at fullback with Gutherson at center and Suli at 17.

It's a damn shame Saints have no chance of landing Pezet. He would be perfect for the Saints. Pezet and Atkinson halves pairing makes Saints a top 8 possibly top 4 side. My only hope is Saints can get Metclaf from the Warriors and the land Pezet as Anasta may be happy to put work with the Warriors. The Warriors did a similar thing with Aladin and the Fish. The let go of their gun prop and quickly had a gun replacement.

Anasta does have every right to be dirty as Illias has been treated poorly. SFlanno told Illias to work on some things in KOE, they went 11 or 12 undefeated which Illias was key, and yet he still did not get picked ahead of Kyle or LKT who were not playing any better than before Illias played FG. It wreaks of nepotism which has now come back to bite Saints.

First it was Hook choosing all his Qld buddies no matter how bad they played, and now Flanno doing the same with his son. Because of this it has really damaged the Saints reputation as a club to join. Saints have got to simply find a coach who picks players on merit and form and they may be able to recruit better. As soon as Shane wanted his son to join him the Dragons should have seen it as a red flag. And now the extension.

No one is chasing Ilias, simply because Ilias is not up to first grade quality. If Bennett couln't get him there, no one can.

Ilias will partner LKT in reserve grade once Reed is promoted to first-grade.

Yeah I half expect that Ilias will be taking our coin again next year. I can’t see any other team poaching him.
Our only hope is England, but if he isn’t ready to go there we will have him again.
