so the NRL, who have added Dolphins,Perth , PNG , opening the season in Vegas, attendance records , ratings records, every club profitable with spare change to start buying up hotels, new stadium in Penrith , upgrade for Cambeltown, upgrade for Liechart, new Townsville stadium..Alianz.on the verge of the biggest TV deal in the games history..THE BIGGEST RUGBY COMP IN THE WORLD.,.. can't improve SL cause Cronulla?

Well that settles it lol
If only they could move the m62 to nsw & qld any of that might actually be applicable.

If they get broadcast for 10 team comp to begin with it becomes immediately profitable
says who? The rights deal they have now doesn’t even cover their cap, why would a new comp with less teams suddenly make it more appetising to broadcasters? It’s not Australia, the market is completely different, RL is a small fish in a very big pond populated by much bigger fish. It would be an enormous undertaking by the nrl & one I don’t have much faith in them being up for, they have enough going on here.

In comparison the NRL has ever club profitable.
I think the NRL should forget the acquisition of hotels and make the acquisition of Super league the priority.
There's massive potential over there if it's done right!
Tigers have admitted losing millions last two years on football operations. SL owners covering losses is no different to NRL pokie dens covering losses.

Lockyer wouldn’t be investing if they weren’t guaranteed a spot surely ?

And the club in super league would lose over a million pounds easy that’s a big annual cost to cover
A competitive London will need 3-4million pound a year min investing in it. Clubs with 12k crowds are allegedly losing 1-2million.

Brisbane broncos and Richard Branson gave up so the odds are against him

Not sure plough lane is viable for them either but if he can make it work it’s huge for the game

Broncos crowds have been falling for a decade from Brent ford where they would get 3k or so

Hard to see a club being viable on such low crowds

So it's fairly obvious that London will be in, then 90% on York.

For that 3rd spot.

Bradford - Wood has direct connection with, I'd say 60%
Toulouse 20%
Salford 10%
And the rest about 10%

So probs:
London
York
Bradford

Anyone else see it it that way?

Bradford
Toulose
London or York

Jason demetriou has signed on as London coach for 3 years subject to getting a super league spot

So have a few nrl players

If I had to guess turbo and Sloane

Lockyer is going to be surprised how hard it is to market rugby in a city like London which is soccer central

You're confident on Toulouse?
Hope so .
