Sir Delius, after watching the Caulfield Cup and seeing who he would have had to beat in the Melbourne Cup

I hope the bookies got cleaned out today. Ka ying, private eye, half yours would’ve cost them a bit I reckon. They got some back in apocalyptic but I doubt she attracted as much attention as the others.
According to that weasel Tim Ryan they did. Probably only fair we have a bit of a whip around and give the poor old TAB some money. I'll start the go fund me page.

Plus Ole Dancer was a great bet $5-6.

Apocolyptic a question at Caulfield and Ole Kirk’s absolutely flying.

Credit to Apocolyptic for the fight that it showed. It was a great race.

Having a quick look over at the Everest history, I reckon Yes Yes Yes is the most impressive winner thus far. There were 3 Everest winners in the race with Nature Strip, Redzel and Classique Legend, and then throw in some good-quality sprinters like Santa Ana Lane,Sunlight,Alizee and Pierata.

I could be wrong, but that seems like the strongest edition.

Do they whip flog him at HQ after the last or something? Whattabitch….

they wont be breaking the track record every time and the jockey said he cocked up the timing of the run. he might still break his duck.
He’s won twice at 1800 metres & placed over 2000 metres…Parrse is correct, he should’ve raced more handy as the horse is a little too dour for the way he rode it. Only has a short sprint & grinds out most of his wins.
Huge run considering how out of his comfort zone he was, and quality of opposition.

Just read this, terrible news… he still had plenty of years in the breeding barn in front of him.

SYT will always be one of my faves. That Spring he won the Cox Plate was pretty much the first carnival that I really started to get into my ponies and he was a massive part of that.

It was hard not to be caught up with him, this striking black horse, trained by Bart gets taken to the front of a Cox Plate and runs a good field into the ground. Then I remember he came back next prep first up and beat Shoot Out and Typhoon Tracey and then everyone realised he was a serious animal.

Went to the Europe and performed against the best over there as well.

I’ll never forget a quote from Steven Arnold at the time he was riding him, someone had said to him that he’s a gun horse and Arnold replied ‘yep you have to wipe your shoes before you jump on this fella’ never forgot that haha
